End of Over 29: 161-0, runrate=5.55, reqrunrate=2.00 (202-10)
Afridi 5-0-23-0
Mahmood* 81 (74 balls)
Hansen 74 (101 balls)

Its a good come back from my team after that first league match. I am going to win this cup match for sure.

36.1 2 Munir to Mahmood
Smashed away, stopped by Shafiq to prevent a boundary. I'm surprised it didn't break his foot! Two runs for Mahmood.
And that's a century for Mahmood! Well played indeed Sir!

Another 100 for my opener.

And that's the end of the match. Assassins XI won by 10 wickets.
Stallions 202-10
Assassins XI 203-0

So i won.

My match against Casino 36 has just started:

2.6 W Otto to Penford
Hook, line and sinker! Otto tempts Penford into fishing outside off stump, Griffin reeling in an ugly outside edge at slip.

Fairly decent start for me. Danby's the key wicket though.

End of Over 6: 26-1, runrate=4.33
Griffin 3-0-17-0
Danby* 4 (6 balls)
Miles 15 (25 balls)

Last Wicket: Penford c. Griffin b. Otto 4 (FOW: 13/1)

progressive score from my cup game

End of Over 6: 23-5, runrate=3.83, reqrunrate=8.36 (390-3)

P.S i batted first :D

End of Over 12: 59-1, runrate=4.92
Bowditch 1-0-6-0
Danby* 15 (20 balls)
Miles 35 (48 balls)

Last Wicket: Penford c. Griffin b. Otto 4 (FOW: 13/1)

This partnership's starting to get worrying. Still, my 2 spinners will be coming on soon and its a dusty pitch, so thats where the game will be won or lost.

EDIT -

12.3 W Otto to Danby
Mason's caught him. Great fielding.

Yesss! Bring it on!

End of Over 13: 64-2, runrate=4.92
Otto 7-0-29-2
Miles* 37 (50 balls)
Heather 1 (3 balls)

On a dusty pitch, Otto's bowling superbly.

13.3 W Bowditch to Miles
Edges off the end of the bat and it's Christmas come early for Zafarullah.

Third ball by the worst of my 2 spinners!

End of Over 14: 73-3, runrate=5.21
Bowditch 2-0-11-1
Stephens* 1 (1 balls)
Heather 5 (5 balls)

Wow, everyones games seem to be going well. Including Challengers XI. I am trying out a new squad lineup based on my research on my Battrick spreadsheet (which I made myself with help from the Virtual Designs one. So far, it is working perfectly, although I can't remember whether I chose to GFI or just go normal (it is a cup game).

A really nice 100 opening partnership in 13 overs (in 75 balls to be precise):
Code:
End of Over 13: 106-0, runrate=8.15
Nkabinde	7-0-73-0
Long*	54 (35 balls)
Edwards	46 (44 balls)

Code:
End of Over 17: 141-0, runrate=8.29
Jenkins	2-0-19-0
Long*	73 (51 balls)
Edwards	60 (53 balls)

Wow, they were going pretty well (look at dat run rate!) until:
Code:
17.1 W	Saifiullah to Long
Great reaction catch by Hera, taking a ball flicked down leg side at full stretch.

18.5 W Hemmings to Heather
You won't see an easier catch than that, Otto didn't have to move in the end.

Going quite well, this.

End of Over 19: 88-4, runrate=4.63
Hemmings 3-0-7-1
Walton* 1 (1 balls)
Stephens 8 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Heather c. Otto b. Hemmings 11 (FOW: 87/4)

Yeah, your boys are bowling great. I just hope I can get something approaching decent, so my bowlers at least have a shot. Im not hopeful though, as I have an especially long tail today.

Stephens has just gone, thats basically game over

Hope so :) If its any comfort, if I hadn't been at home and able to prepare a dusty pitch I wouldn't have a prayer.

doing ok, but experimental batting orders migth mean i wont be able to chase that big a total, hoping to keep them to below 230

My game is going better than I expected. Got my opponents all out for 86 and have nearly won it now. I hope I get an easy team so that I can TIE next game, as it'll probably be at my ground. Anyway, a home game in the cup will give me ?50,000, so I'm not worried.

if you get an eays team itll more htna likely be away, as the lowest ranked team plays at home,

but you could get a nice draw

End of Over 47: 171-10, runrate=3.64
Griffin 9-1-31-2
Hettiarachchi* 29 (60 balls)

Some excellent bowling by my lads - Fieldwick the star (10-2-24-3), but also Otto (8-0-30-2), Griffin (9-1-31-2) and Hemmings (10-0-23-1). Lets hope the batsmen do their bit too.

End of Over 50: 243-8, runrate=4.86

Dlomo 10-2-39-3

4 wickets off the last over, all dlomo (except a run out)

End of Over 26: 138-2, runrate=5.31, reqrunrate=4.42 (243-8)
Becconsall 3-0-24-0
Mampe* 40 (44 balls)
Ghandi 62 (85 balls)

2 early wickets, and not getting the runrate untile about 20 overs meant some early nerves

but mampe, (the new king who can bowl a bit?) looks like he has saved the match
