Its funny though isn't it you cant by a batter or a bowler but "superb" wicket keepers can be picked up for less than ?10k. Its ridiculous!

I think battrick should change this auction style player buying and go for a more controlled offer for the player and see if its accepted.

Least that way you could pick-up a bargain, none of this ?30k to ?300k in the last 5 minutes of buying.

But hey its probably because I'm broke and can't get any new players :crying

We can tell you that Gillys Demolition Team won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this partially cloudy and windy day.

extremely happy with how my top order performed, should be able to defend this rather easily

i bowled pretty craply. Hutchinson especially giving away 88 off his ten.

If i had my better bowler (who i recently sold) i would have restricted you to probably 280 :p

But dont count me out yet, my top order is pretty good especially with the new guy i bought

Bowlers have been getting a hammering. Islam ineffective again.

Sam got a wicket though.

5.5 W Sam to Haishen
That's clipped Haishen's pad as it goes down the leg side. Haishen can't believe it. He's been given out, caught behind by Masibulele. What a poor decision.

End of Over 9: 49-1, runrate=5.44

Whoo! Look at those Figures!

Wickets that Have fallen:

0.4 W Mahmood to Spearitt
Spectacular superman dive by the 2nd slip! The batsmen can't believe it but he's out!
2.3 W Mahmood to Folds
That's an absolute peach of a delivery, finds the edge, and Shahbaz takes it at the second attempt.

2.6 W Mahmood to Rudi
That has made a mess of the stumps. Great bowling by Mahmood.

Great to see a player that was made by my Academy do so well. I think you've lost this Zorax.

Wow awesome start PC.

My middle over bowlers are leaking a few too many runs for my liking.

End of Over 18: 86-1, runrate=4.78
Roberts 4-0-16-0
Harley* 36 (50 balls)
Malik 23 (36 balls)

It's up and away! High into the stands. What's that children's song? 'Up in the air I fly...'

Well i only lost by 9 runs. It was very close in the end. Just needed a couple of boundaires alogn with singles in that last over and they only got singles

A few more wickets.

30.4 W Shorey to Malik
That's clipped Malik's pad as it goes down the leg side. Malik can't believe it. He's been given out, caught behind by Masibulele. What a poor decision.
40.2 W Sam to Harley
Stumped him! Harley crept down the wicket and missed that one by a mile or more.

Very poor over from Pollard.

Code:
End of Over 44: 244-3, runrate=5.55
Pollard	10-0-64-0
Sagren*	45 (40 balls)
Abdul kadir	14 (10 balls)
Last Wicket: Harley st. Masibulele b. Sam 94 (FOW: 205/3)

43.6 4	Pollard to Abdul kadir
Poor fielding by Islam allows that ball to go through his legs for four. A very welcome boundary.
43.5 1	Pollard to Sagren
Nudges the ball to third man.
43.4 1	Pollard to Abdul kadir
Just short of a length, and angling in to Abdul kadir, but he works it away to leg side for a single.
43.3 3	Pollard to Sagren
Not the worst delivery, pitched between middle and leg stump, but Sagren daintily flicks it behind square leg for three. Beautiful timing amd good running.
43.2 4	Pollard to Sagren
Nothing short of a hurricane could have stopped that!
43.1 6	Pollard to Sagren
And that's coming towards us... six through the commentary box window!

My opposition talked the talk on another site, but could not walk the walk.

Nice going Sean! I still am gonna win though. U don't know my secret weapon.

His secret weapon didn't work. :)

Still under 6 an over and another wicket.
45.4 W Islam to Abdul kadir
Athleticism at its best. That one arced through the air, and Sam, on his backfoot, has taken a wonderful leaping catch to his left to prevent the six and send Abdul kadir on the long walk home.
