Wooohooo Weaver finally passes the 60 mark. Now can Chavhanga make his first official 50.

End of Over 35: 206-2, runrate=5.89, reqrunrate=2.27 (239-6)
Beech 6-1-23-1
Weaver* 60 (70 balls)
Chavhanga 34 (38 balls)
Last Wicket: Steele lbw b. Beech 78 (FOW: 141/2)
34.6 4 Beech to Chavhanga
Chavhanga goes route one. Straight back past the bowler for four.

Send Chavhanga to bat for my team after u finish this game :p Really impressed with his recent form. Amazing!

@handy... One more wicket will put you in driver's seat. @gilly, tough luck!

And in my match, still they are going steadily... Need wickets!
End of Over 26: 77-4, runrate=2.96
Wotton 3-0-7-0
Singh* 9 (28 balls)
Ali 16 (37 balls)
Last Wicket: Govender b. Baloch 19 (FOW: 58/4)

Why worry , suren the run rate is very good from your point of view.
Yeah, hahahahahaha got paki out just as i was posting. Yeahhhhhhhhhh
MY 1000TH POST , AND A REMAKABLE ONE

27.3 W Heller to Paki
Paki tried to slog a straight one and failed to connect, out!
27.2 1 Heller to Bhutia
Guided away to third man for an easy single.
27.1 . Heller to Bhutia
That ball isn't going to make Bhutia play, as he leaves well alone for the ball to fly through at waist height to Richardson.

End of Over 27: 104-3, runrate=3.85
Allan 4-0-11-0
Bhutia* 12 (28 balls)
Paki 49 (87 balls)

Last Wicket: Naidoo c. Salahuddin b. Malik 23 (FOW: 79/3)

Hehe probably won't be needed the way your guys are going :)

4 more runs for Chavhanga first 50, only 9 runs to get though. Hope Weaver doesn't hit 2 4s.

Couldn't smash Halls later on :(
Ended up with only 10-0-85-0

Maiden 50 :happy
40.1 2 Lufu to Chavhanga
A delivery short of a length is met with great timing by Chavhanga. The sweeper has to run a long way around the boundary and the batsmen, who set off quickly for the first, walk the second.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

And an awesome way to progress to the next round.

40.3 4 Lufu to Weaver
One man's bad luck is another man's fortune. Weaver seems almost embarrassed that he got a boundary from that inside edge while Lufu says a few rueful words to the heavens.

And that's the end of the match. Baggy Blues won by 8 wickets.
The Fine Young Lads 239-6
Baggy Blues 241-2

End of Over 41: 241-2, runrate=5.88
Lufu 5-0-33-0
Chavhanga* 51 (54 balls)
Weaver* 78 (87 balls)

Bad bad loss. But it's good to see Black getting back into form just as the season is starting. I had an alright crowd today. Will hopefully be bigger for the league matches.

Nice 50 for chavy there! :clap Awesome win Syl..congrads :hpraise

And handy, thats a needed wicket :) Hope u utilise it.

And in my match, Wotton got a breakthrough

27.5 W Wotton to Ali
Out! Bolland was placed there just for that shot, and he takes an easy chance at head height. Smart cricket there from the fielding team.

Yes, smart cricket :p And scorecard atm,
End of Over 30: 91-5, runrate=3.03
Wotton 5-0-11-1
Singh* 21 (40 balls)
Singh lali 2 (8 balls)
Last Wicket: Ali c. Bolland b. Wotton 16 (FOW: 87/5)

Another wicket :happy

30.1 W Bolland to Singh
Bolland to Singh, OUT! Bolland strikes! On the leg stump, Singh flicks it in the air to square leg, Wotton dives in front and takes a good catch. Soft dismissal.

Bowling Bolly! :p

Why TIE for a knock out game.
Suren is doing very well.

it's going stable at the moment , but need another wicket of paki who has 7 centuries and highest of 196*.
Because, I knew I'd lose, so I'm focusing on getting my team fitter for next week.

Awesome stuff Suren.

Well, Bolland finished his 10 Overs!

Good bowling :clap So after 34 Overs,
End of Over 34: 100-6, runrate=2.94

Bhutia* 39 (63 balls)
Singh lali 18 (25 balls)

They are pilling up runs now, desperately need a wicket here.

End of Over 22: 82-5, runrate=3.73
Murphy 1-1-0-1
Soysa* 31 (42 balls)
Munaweera 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Chamara lbw b. Murphy 15 (FOW: 82/5)

not exactly cruising, but nonetheless its okay...

bownling figures so far:

Murphy 1-1-0-1
Cash 4-0-7-1
Gradley 5-0-29-1
Polonowita 7-1-21-1
Ilanganage 5-0-21-1

Pretty good loking so far.

22.1 6 Cash to Soysa
Flat ball on the stumps and Soysa goes down on one knee and slog-sweeps it over the mid wicket fence.

Not great...

22.4 W Cash to Munaweera
That one's turned a mile! Brilliant bowling by Cash, Munaweera was completely bamboozled by that one.

Thats more like it

End of Over 23: 89-6, runrate=3.87
Cash 5-0-14-2
Soysa* 38 (44 balls)
Gallage 0 (2 balls)

Mind you, its a green pitch

They are developing a partnership

Singh lali 26 (37 balls)

End of Over 39: 171-4, runrate=4.38
Broadbridge 10-0-39-0
Bhutia* 54 (72 balls)
Singh lali 23 (28 balls)

Last Wicket: Paki b. Heller 49 (FOW: 105/4)
Same here, i also need a wicket , they are taking the game away from me.
38.6 1 Broadbridge to Bhutia
Shapes for a big cover drive, but he doesn't quite time it, and only gets the single.
38.5 4 Broadbridge to Bhutia
That's the hook shot. Is it six? Just short for a one-bounce four.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
38.4 1 Broadbridge to Singh lali
Drive to the off side.
38.3 4 Broadbridge to Singh lali
A fraction too short and Singh lali is very quick to rock back and pull it for four. He got into position superbly to play that shot.
38.2 . Broadbridge to Singh lali
Singh lali misread the speed of that one off the pitch. Well taken by Richardson.
38.1 3 Broadbridge to Bhutia
Bhutia misjudges the length slightly but manages to pull it through mid wicket for three.
