Yipeee... Two wickets by Love :happy

3.5 W Love to Ali
Out!!! Ali was struck right in front of all three. If he was fixing a leaky pipe he couldn't have been plumber!

5.3 W Love to Moodley
Moodley has mistimed that one. Wotton juggles it but is relieved to take it at the second attempt.

Scorecard atm,

End of Over 7: 17-2, runrate=2.43
Macdonald 4-2-8-0
Govender* 10 (15 balls)
Paki 1 (9 balls)
Last Wicket: Moodley c. Wotton b. Love 2 (FOW: 15/2)

That's quite a slow start

Oh yea forgot to put Liddle is out hence Weaver smashing the ball around now.

12.2 W Hughes to Liddle
Well, he simply hung his bat out to dry, and the ball gladly took the edge. Good catch as well.

Poor Halls just when it looks like he'll get an ok over away this happens.

End of Over 18: 123-1, runrate=6.83, reqrunrate=3.66 (239-6)
Halls 4-0-45-0
Weaver* 21 (16 balls)
Steele 70 (52 balls)
Last Wicket: Liddle c. Duff b. Hughes 29 (FOW: 78/1)
17.6 4 Halls to Steele
Beautifully guided to the third man boundary for four.

That's quite a slow start

Thats my opponent Syl ;) I am bowling first :p Just one question, are u in attacking mode for the openers?

@handy, its a nice start for you too.

And at the end of 9 overs,

End of Over 9: 22-2, runrate=2.44
Macdonald 5-2-12-0
Paki* 2 (13 balls)
Govender 14 (23 balls)
Last Wicket: Moodley c. Wotton b. Love 2 (FOW: 15/2)

Hehe yea just noticed when you celebrated the wickets.
My openers are destructive and attacking and both have been set on attacking. Weaver is cautious, set on normal but doing a quicker job that Liddle.

BTW what is the setting of your bowlers? I really need to fix up my bowling problem some how.

Will have to buy Halls a beer :)

Code:
End of Over 20: 136-1, runrate=6.80, reqrunrate=3.47 (239-6)
Halls	5-0-56-0
Steele*	75 (56 balls)
Weaver	29 (24 balls)
Last Wicket: Liddle c. Duff b. Hughes 29 (FOW: 78/1)
19.6 2	Halls to Weaver
Good length ball, played firmly to mid off. Poor fielding from Lufu lets them get an easy second.
19.5 4	Halls to Weaver
Short, rising ball with some width outside off stump. Weaver frees the arms and purposefully uppercuts, slashing it high over backward point and down to the boundary.
19.4 1	Halls to Steele
Halls looks livid after that inside edge just misses the stumps.
19.3 2	Halls to Steele
Steele got forward well to that and steered it though the gap for two runs.
19.2 1	Halls to Weaver
A little bit of hesitation from the batsmen nearly costs Weaver but he was well in his crease in the end.
19.1 1	Halls to Steele
A big outside edge flies at a rate of knots over first slip's head and is fielded by third man. One is added to the total.

9.3 1 Heller to Paki
That's a neat little late cut through the vacant third slip region for a single.
9.3 nb. Heller to Paki
no ball, Excellent yorker length ball just outside off stump. The batsman can only dig it out to cover.
9.2 1 Heller to Naidoo
Outside edge, into the gap at slips, third man running in to field.
9.1 4 Heller to Naidoo
That's a decent ball which is met by a superb shot. A wonderful back foot drive through extra cover, four well deserved runs.
9.1 wd Heller to Naidoo
Naidoo had no chance of getting his bat on that, Richardson only just got hold of it. Wide Ball!
Heller is having a bad over. He shoudn't have put in as attacking bowler or maybe opening bowler. Not a impressive debut from him , as opposed to sanders. I am having 5 players on debut for me.

Ah bugger Steele falls short of his 100.
21.3 W Beech to Steele
Plumb in front of middle peg. Steele has to walk.
My God is in now, lets see if he can start the season with a not out :p

But a match winning effort from him it was from him. Unlucky not get 100!

11.2 . Malik to Paki
Ooh, a good 'un there, decent length that threatens to nibble at an edge. We'll call that the 'Naughty Mosquito'. Paki knows that's gone and gives Malik a nod of professional acknowledgement.

Hehe yea just noticed when you celebrated the wickets.
My openers are destructive and attacking and both have been set on attacking. Weaver is cautious, set on normal but doing a quicker job that Liddle.

I have to try this in next game i guess.. I have never tried anything other than normal so far in batting :p Rampaul and Folds are destructive while Alshaun is attacking. Prbly need to experiment in next game.

BTW what is the setting of your bowlers? I really need to fix up my bowling problem some how.

I have set two bowlers to defensive (3rd-Baloch and 4-Bolland) and remaining is normal in this match. Usually, i will go for defensive with Wotton. Lets see how it works out.

And in my match, still a slow progress.. Need wickets ;)

End of Over 13: 41-2, runrate=3.15
Macdonald 7-2-23-0
Govender* 16 (31 balls)
Paki 19 (29 balls)
Last Wicket: Moodley c. Wotton b. Love 2 (FOW: 15/2)

This Paki has already got 2 sixes

Code:
11.3 [B]6[/B]	Baloch to Paki
Beautifully lofted drive over the outstretched arms of Malik at long on for six.

10.1 [B]6[/B]	Macdonald to Paki
That sailed out of the ground. It probably found the car park, which would explain why all of the car alarms are going off!

And now Bolland strikes in very first over :happy

14.2 W Bolland to Paki
Gone for the big heave-ho, it's gone a long way up in the air. Love is under it... and he takes it comfortably. Those ones are never easy, but he never had any doubt.

Edit : I was trying to post for a long time but seemed to be server down!

Yea a match winning knock, means my middle order can cruise home.

That guy is finally rolling.
26.5 4 Dunning to Chavhanga
You don't always need a heavy bat to get four. Chavhanga just opens the face and runs it down to third man.

Weaver has been awesome, will be interesting to see if he can get past 60 for the first time ever.

End of Over 27: 173-2, runrate=6.41, reqrunrate=2.91 (239-6)
Dunning 7-0-37-0
Weaver* 47 (44 balls)
Chavhanga 15 (16 balls)
Last Wicket: Steele lbw b. Beech 78 (FOW: 141/2)

Nice comfortable going Syl :)

And in my match, Baloch gets a wicket :happy

17.3 W Baloch to Govender
That's a heat-seeking yorker by Baloch. Govender just didn't have time to react.

Nice yorker :p

End of Over 18: 58-4, runrate=3.22
Baloch 4-1-11-1
Ali* 9 (13 balls)
Singh 0 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Govender b. Baloch 19 (FOW: 58/4)

17.1 W Malik to Naidoo
Tried to smash that through the cover area, but Salahuddin was perfectly positioned and takes the catch at chest height.
Got a wicket when really in need , a spinner malik a doing a fair job on a green wicket and cloudy conditions.

Very comfortable for you too Suren :)

28.5 2 Dunning to Weaver
Weaver just chipped the ball into the off side and will pick up two runs.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Been a bit quiet lately.

I only did TIE.
I wonder if my team has lost. I'm checking now.
Game is nearly finished.

End of Over 31: 166-7, runrate=5.35, reqrunrate=11.37 (381-4)
Thompson 9-0-62-2
Bridges* 33 (38 balls)
Longrigg 0 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Caskey Run Out 4 (FOW: 161/7)

Black played a good knock of 69.

My favourite bowler is back on and he hasn't disappointed. Hopefully I can give him his full 10 overs and clock up a 100 against him :p

End of Over 32: 192-2, runrate=6.00, reqrunrate=2.67 (239-6)
Halls 6-0-64-0
Chavhanga* 27 (32 balls)
Weaver 53 (58 balls)
Last Wicket: Steele lbw b. Beech 78 (FOW: 141/2)

I only did TIE.
.

Why TIE for a knock out game.
Suren is doing very well.

End of Over 21: 85-3, runrate=4.05
Allan 1-0-4-0
Bhutia* 0 (9 balls)
Paki 45 (70 balls)

Last Wicket: Naidoo c. Salahuddin b. Malik 23 (FOW: 79/3)

it's going stable at the moment , but need another wicket of paki who has 7 centuries and highest of 196*.
