Crushed to the dungeons..

End of Over 13: 78-1, runrate=6.00, reqrunrate=2.11 (155-10)

They are chasing...

Stanley made a 49 and Dharmasena made a nice 37... but then wickets started to fall... its a humiliated loss...

13.4 W Manning to Apple
Apple nicked the one that pitched perfectly in the corridor, caught by Duminda.

Thats a relief. Maybe Ryno and John can cause a collapse if they get to bowl?

14.6 W Whittingham to Scriven
Duminda takes a splendid catch off Whittingham's bowling. Scriven will be disappointed with his dismissal.

I dont mind who causes the collapse :D

16.6 4 Whittingham to Gustav
That one strays down leg, rubbish really, and that's well worked off the legs for four by Gustav. Meat and drink to him, not to mention bread and butter.

Not great bowling at this point..

End of Over 17: 92-3, runrate=5.41, reqrunrate=1.94 (155-10)

I just need to carry the game to overs 21-30 and hope for a collapse...

Ryno and Illanganage are bowling! John wouldnt bowl till the last 10, so i guess no win for me then...

End of Over 22: 104-3, runrate=4.73, reqrunrate=1.86 (155-10)

I need wickets

Its raining runs now...

22.3 4 Ryno to Branch
Branch gives himself room and launches that half volley through the covers. No need to run for that one.
22.6 4 Ryno to Branch
Wide ball and Branch slashes it inches beyond the diving Murray at cover. There's no man protecting the boundary out there and it runs away for four.
24.1 4 Ryno to Gustav
Four! Ryno cannot believe it!

its out of reach now :(

End of Over 25: 128-3, runrate=5.12, reqrunrate=1.12 (155-10)

Bad luck, Voldy.

Syl, I honestly thought that you had a better team than, Brett. Never knew he had such a good team.

My team has been around way longer though sean, like i have had my team for a year. I have a pretty decent squad.

Narrowly lost my first game by 21 runs against Hampton Central CC. Hiller scored 157 from 139 balls which won them the game.

27.5 W Prince to Atherton-ham
Smacked the ball straight into the groin of Nuttall who has fallen over, miraculously with the ball still caught in his scrotal area! Out!

My team has gone into FC mode :S

End of Over 29: 62-2, runrate=2.14
Tuckett 5-0-12-0
Packer* 32 (95 balls)
Rudi 21 (43 balls)

Last Wicket: Folds c. Mahmood b. Solomon 6 (FOW: 26/2)

Has anyone had a slower innings than 35 off 108 balls? Please let me know if you were able to win despite such an innings...
Well, atleast he's out now. Lets hope Crouch can turn up the heat. I've only got Folkes and Tuckett to rely on bowling wise as it seems these two are gonna be batting for some time yet...

End of Over 32: 76-3, runrate=2.38
Solomon 6-3-10-2
Rudi* 26 (45 balls)
Crouch 4 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Packer c. Shahbaz b. Solomon 35 (FOW: 72/3)

My team went from 108/3 in 40 overs, with my two best batsmen on strike, to 120 a/o. These collapses are really runing the game for me, I have already given up watching all my matches due to this reason.

Whether it is realistic or not, all teams share the same engine. You win some, you lose some, but by and large it evens itself out.

Id start watching again if I were you!

Hahahaha...well good game, got me scared when u guys were going at around 6 an over at the end of 10 overs...but then wickets started to fall and farley and smith did really well to pull it back

I have no idea what my groundsman was smoking, but they were 36/5! They've recovered now via their last two batsmen, upto 70 odd without another wicket, but if Tuckett can pick up one wicket in this spell, who knows? Although winning this would be a massive fluke...I mean, defending 120, c'mon...180 maybe....

I don't mind losing, that is fine, but the collapses in the final ten and the predictability of the matches as a result is very annoying.
