I bowled them out for 417 which means I'm chasing 218. This will be a draw  how they managed 410 is beyond me, looks like the pitch doesn't deteriorate. How many overs are left in the day people in England? Is it possible?

Not off to the best start. I'm resting about 3-4 players though.

End of Over 11: 57-2, runrate=5.18
Thackeray 6-1-24-1
Bridges* 39 (34 balls)
Sturgess 5 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Jepson lbw b. Thackeray 5 (FOW: 41/2)

Here are the wickets.

5.6 W Muralitharan to Saich
Beautiful delivery finds an edge. Blenkinsopp grabs it, the appeals go up. He's out.

8.5 W Thackeray to Jepson
Jepson has mistimed his shot and Thackeray and Blenkinsopp are appealing! The umpire seems to be nodding, and he's out - leg before wicket!

28/09/2007 Played a match and received £93225 in gate receipts.

That should cover the subsidy. I should get another 90 odd k on Sunday. :)

13.6 4 Muralitharan to Bridges
Good length delivery on the off stump, moving away from Bridges who lofts it over point. Good shot!
And that's his fifty! Well played.

End of Over 14: 90-2, runrate=6.43
Muralitharan 7-0-55-1
Sturgess* 23 (12 balls)
Bridges 53 (44 balls)
Last Wicket: Jepson lbw b. Thackeray 5 (FOW: 41/2

Noice 50 there. His only chance to start an innings, and he's making the most of it.

End of Over 18: 118-2, runrate=6.56
Muralitharan 9-0-67-1
Bridges* 64 (56 balls)
Sturgess 39 (24 balls)
Last Wicket: Jepson lbw b. Thackeray 5 (FOW: 41/2)

I'll need about 300. THey have one guy who is about strong or Superb IMO and he has destroyed every time I've played him.

My new recurit was economical with no wickets. 7 overs for 25 runs.

Clayden liked his new position being on a hattrick in his 2nd over.

3.4 W Clayden to Pedro
Pedro went for the pull shot, but got the top edge. Both the keeper and the fielder went for it but it ended up in Masibulele's gloves.
13.3 W Clayden to Bromby
That has knocked Bromby's house down, Clayden must have been a fan of the little pig with the straw house.

Good to see Mohammed being cheap and getting a wicket now.

26.4 W Mohammed to Sawyer
Sawyer gives himself some room to try to play a fine late cut, but he only succeeds in steering a simple catch into the safe gloves of Masibulele.

End of Over 28: 96-3, runrate=3.43
Hamed 4-3-2-0
Bailey* 0 (2 balls)
Pollard 43 (92 balls)

Last Wicket: Sawyer c. Masibulele b. Mohammed 17 (FOW: 96/3)

29.3 W Gratton to Bridges
Gone! Gratton has bowled Bridges with a yorker. To top it off, Bridges's broken his bat as he slammed it into the pitch trying to keep that delivery out.

Damn, he falls for 89.
End of Over 30: 170-3, runrate=5.67
Gratton 5-0-26-1
Sturgess* 61 (51 balls)
Noon 3 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Bridges b. Gratton 89 (FOW: 166/3)

You're going alright Sean, same for you angy.

Chav not going to bat again :(

34.1 W Hamed to Pollard
There was absolutely no turn on that whatsoever. Goodness knows how Pollard didn't pick it. Hamed will hope his mom is recording this at home.

Check out Hamed figures, didn't concede any runs last week and now this against the 2nd place guy in my league!
End of Over 35: 115-4, runrate=3.29
Hamed 6-5-2-1
Bailey* 15 (22 balls)
Geldenhuys 0 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Pollard b. Hamed 45 (FOW: 115/4)

Nah 2nd place guy in my league, more the total he will be setting means my openers should deal with it and if not Chav won't make the 100 I want him to.

End of Over 36: 207-3, runrate=5.75
Thabethe 5-0-22-0
Sturgess* 84 (72 balls)
Noon 16 (18 balls)
Last Wicket: Bridges b. Gratton 89 (FOW: 166/3)

I'm worried about a collapse. I only have 1 more bat left.
