53.3 2 Till to Bridges
That's high and rising. A stalwart with the bat, Bridges has hit that one a long way but the deep extra cover stops it just short of the boundary.
And that's a century for Bridges! Well played indeed Sir!

Superb century. No one but Caskey has been able to stick around him.
End of Over 54 (6 runs). Aussie Bombers: 181-8, runrate=3.35
Trail by 223 runs. (Legless XI 404-0 dec)
Till 15-0-94-0
Longrigg* 3 (15 balls)
Bridges 102 (146 balls)
Last Wicket: Caskey b. Muscat 37 (FOW: 160/8)
54.2 W Horton to Longrigg
Longrigg calls him through, but now he's sent his partner back! Easy run out for Fairweather.

Now Longrigg's out, it looks like I'll be following on. :(

60.1 W Horton to Tahir
Spinners may not hurt you, but they can definitely make you look stupid. Tahir is on his backside, he's split his whites and the bails are scattered.
Omg! Only 3 runs from not having to follow on (I think) and he goes out. Err......
The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 61 (Maiden). Aussie Bombers: 201-10, runrate=3.30
Trail by 203 runs. (Legless XI 404-0 dec)
Horton 17-9-10-8
Bridges* 118 (166 balls)

4.1 W Horton to Saich
Trapped leg before as the ball turns sharply in the rough at the last moment.

Already lost an early wicket.

End of Over 6 (6 runs). Aussie Bombers: 25-1, runrate=4.17 (1st Inn: 201-10)
Trail by 178 runs. (Legless XI 404-0 dec)
Till 3-0-20-0
Jepson* 2 (7 balls)
Robinson 15 (15 balls)
Last Wicket: Saich lbw b. Horton 8 (FOW: 19/1)

Was a good start in the morning

52.2 W Borrowdale to Manchester
Manchester tries something special, but is made to look foolish as the wickets spread like butter.

Only 2 overs from Hitish for the start of the morning.

67.5 W Clayden to Paster
Aaah. Did you hear that? The traditional English summer sound of leather on stump. Beautifully bowled.

Hitish back on and he strikes

78.2 W Hitish to Griffiths
It was missing leg and off and hitting middle. Plumb LBW.

Alot more fight from his tail

End of Over 79 (Maiden). Hillside: 173-8, runrate=2.19
Lead by 19 runs. (Baggy Blues 154-10)
Hitish 16-4-30-2
Taggart* 31 (80 balls)
Lefu 0 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Griffiths lbw b. Hitish 3 (FOW: 173/8)

End of Over 20 (1 runs). Aussie Bombers: 82-2, runrate=4.10 (1st Inn: 201-10)
Trail by 121 runs. (Legless XI 404-0 dec)
Cumberworth 1-0-1-0
Sturgess* 14 (27 balls)
Jepson 20 (44 balls)
Last Wicket: Robinson lbw b. Horton 38 (FOW: 61/2)

Why couldnt I bat like this in the first innings?

Fighting Mongooses 3/404 dec. (88.0)
Barton 228 n.o.
Browne 94
Whaley 50 n.o.
Graves 2/68 (18.0)

Ball Droppers 0/103 (22.0)
Pearse 62 n.o.
Forbes 34 n.o.

Morning Session, Day 2: Fighting Mongooses Fight Back

Ball Droppers 6/206 (57.0)
Pearse 122 n.o.
Moodley 3/62 (16.0)

A change in tactics applied the brakes and Ball Droppers stumbled for 6/103 in the first session, scoring at only 2.94 rpo. Pearse brought up a convincing century, but was forced to defend more and more as the innings progressed. Exceptional economy from Sheppard and Cable allowed Moodley to keep charging in for much of the morning.

My bowlers have made up for the batters.

84.6 W Hitish to Lefu
Pitched up and swatted out towards the leg side boundary, a great catch on the ropes denies him the six.

86.5 W Hitish to Flynn
Just moved a little bit off the seam and Flynn gets an edge straight to Masibulele.

End of Over 87 (Maiden). Hillside: 193-10, runrate=2.22
Lead by 39 runs. (Baggy Blues 154-10)
Hitish 19-4-35-4
Taggart* 47 (105 balls)

The best batter last match is out for a duck :(
0.6 W Griffiths to Steele
Manchester makes a wicket out of nothing with that brillant peice of glovework. Top class!

Chav in way too early for my liking.

End of Over 3 (3 runs). Baggy Blues: 7-1, runrate=2.33 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Trail by 32 runs. (Hillside 193-10)
Griffiths 2-0-4-1
Ray* 3 (10 balls)
Chavhanga 2 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Steele st. Manchester b. Griffiths 0 (FOW: 3/1)

37.5 W Horton to Sturgess
Horton polishes, in and bowls … deceives him with the googly and that's hopped on to hit middle.

Damn, their star spinner comes on and takes a wicket first over.

End of Over 40 (5 runs). Aussie Bombers: 172-3, runrate=4.30 (1st Inn: 201-10)
Trail by 31 runs. (Legless XI 404-0 dec)
Horton 11-4-24-3
Noon* 5 (7 balls)
Jepson 53 (93 balls)
Last Wicket: Sturgess b. Horton 64 (FOW: 1

Gonna be tough to get this match into a 3rd day now. Bridges will have to repeat his heroics when he comes back in.

Like my guys you're going much better in the 2nd dig. Too bad you couldn't play Myall.

My star batters have been very impressive so far.

End of Over 18 (7 runs). Baggy Blues: 71-2, runrate=3.94 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Lead by 32 runs. (Hillside 193-10)
Taggart 2-0-10-0
Masibulele* 20 (21 balls)
Chavhanga 28 (45 balls)
Last Wicket: Ray c. Manchester b. Griffiths 17 (FOW: 31/2)

The star spinner that ripped me apart last inns has been smashed into the stands :D

18.3 6 Lefu to Chavhanga
Hammered by Chavhanga, that one's going to hit me!!! Mummy!!!

Puny humans! Fear the Omicronians!

Ball Droppers 242 all out (78.3)
Cable 4/54 (19.3)
Moodley 3/74 (19.0)
Pearse 132

Fighting Mongooses lead by 162.

Nicely done Angy

Chav made more runs this time round but still not performing how I would like

20.2 W Lefu to Chavhanga
Bowled him! Easy as you like. Chavhanga played all round that one, goodness knows what shot he was trying to play, but Lefu is happy that's for sure.

End of Over 25 (2 runs, 1lb). Baggy Blues: 93-3, runrate=3.72 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Lead by 54 runs. (Hillside 193-10)
Lefu 4-1-16-1
Quintus* 3 (11 balls)
Masibulele 28 (42 balls)
Last Wicket: Chavhanga b. Lefu 36 (FOW: 82/3)

End of Over 53 (2 runs). Aussie Bombers: 203-3, runrate=3.83 (1st Inn: 201-10)
Scores are level. (Legless XI 404-0 dec)
Muscat 9-1-30-0
Noon* 24 (55 balls)
Jepson 63 (125 balls)
Last Wicket: Sturgess b. Horton 64 (FOW: 165/3)

Oh, and scores are now level. How far can I get in front?

Could get well ahead if your middle to lower order back up this effort.

First 50 of this match and Masi first in FC.

33.5 1 Paster to Masibulele
That's unlucky. Masibulele played that firmly back past the bowler but the ball struck the stumps at the non-striker's end and he'll only pick up a single.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Quintus in the runs this inns bit worrying for my 2nd dig at bowling.
End of Over 34 (4 runs). Baggy Blues: 127-3, runrate=3.74 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Lead by 88 runs. (Hillside 193-10)
Paster 8-1-30-0
Masibulele* 50 (68 balls)
Quintus 14 (39 balls)
Last Wicket: Chavhanga b. Lefu 36 (FOW: 82/3)

57.5 W Horton to Jepson
Jepson tried to lift that one over the fielder but he has run backwards and caught it at full stretch. Great take!

Late wicket and I'm 4 wickets down. Need another recovery mission from Bridges.

End of Over 59 (8 runs). Aussie Bombers: 225-4, runrate=3.81 (1st Inn: 201-10)
Lead by 22 runs. (Legless XI 404-0 dec)
Till 12-0-74-0
Noon* 32 (74 balls)
Bridges 5 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Jepson c. Cumberworth b. Horton 72 (FOW: 214/4)

Masi starting to open up.

42.5 6 Flynn to Masibulele
Hammered by Masibulele, that one's going to hit me!!! Mummy!!!

43.6 4 Paster to Masibulele
Short and wide outside off stump. Masibulele cuts and times it well enough to beat Lancaster at third man.

End of Over 44 (7 runs). Baggy Blues: 170-3, runrate=3.86 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Lead by 131 runs. (Hillside 193-10)
Paster 13-1-47-0
Quintus* 22 (65 balls)
Masibulele 83 (102 balls)
Last Wicket: Chavhanga b. Lefu 36 (FOW: 82/3)

Nice Syl... If you get a lead of 200+, you will be safe is what i feel.

Well in my match,

End of Over 54 (Maiden). HuntingTigers: 202-3, runrate=3.74
Lead by 4 runs. (Mann 198-10)
Padayachie 1-1-0-0
Bishop* 87 (166 balls)
Field 18 (36 balls)

Last Wicket: Alshaun lbw b. Ali 62 (FOW: 162/3)

Domination Syl.

End of Over 70 (11 runs). Aussie Bombers: 293-4, runrate=4.19 (1st Inn: 201-10)
Lead by 90 runs. (Legless XI 404-0 dec)
Fairweather 14-0-94-0
Bridges* 48 (40 balls)
Noon 57 (103 balls)
Last Wicket: Jepson c. Cumberworth b. Horton 72 (FOW: 214/4)

Wow, I'm shocked at how I'm playing. Resp spin line up that bowled me out for 201 earlier today is struggling. *Touch wood.*
