Yeah, but your team has recovered well to get to 127/2. This should definitely be a high-scoring affair like the previous match.

That partnership pretty much won me the match again no support after my top 4 get out (well 2-4).

Yet another draw against one of the top teams coming up. Forgot to change my orders to bat forever so that he bowls my side out and claims that extra BP.

End of Over 68 (Maiden). Baggy Blues: 234-4, runrate=3.44
Trail by 220 runs. (Whaleys Warriors 454-7 dec)
Elvins 16-7-26-0
Quintus* 78 (130 balls)
Cook 19 (57 balls)
Last Wicket: Lee lbw b. Hargreaves 30 (FOW: 184/4)

Today's game ended in less than 24 overs. I think I'm going to work on a strategy for getting as long an innings as possible out of bots, to boost NRR.

Because NRR is only counted on overs played. All out for 30 in 30 overs is a better result than all out for 30 in 10 overs.

It was all goin well, untill this happened :(

End of Over 46: 285-2, runrate=6.20
Ahmed 8-0-58-0
Flower* 110 (128 balls)
Trainer 68 (60 balls)

Last Wicket: Bignot lbw b. Ghandi 96 (FOW: 165/2)

My Mood was :) :) :happy

End of Over 47: 288-5, runrate=6.13
Ahmed 9-0-49-3
Flower* 112 (130 balls)
Castle 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Lenish Run Out 0 (FOW: 288/5)

My Mood became

Definetly my best victory so far. Batting first we amassed 384/2 with Lunn on his debut scoring 170*, Mpho also on his debut scoring 73* off 48 and the ever reliable Sandwith making 101.

We then went on to bowl them out for 20 of 8.5 overs, with my new All-Rounder Fletcher returning with figures of 4.5-1-14-2 and my other new signing Cornwall who I got for a real bargain having figures of 4-1-5-7

I am annoyed however as another human has entered my OD division meaning I won't be bot bashing for much longer

Because NRR is only counted on overs played. All out for 30 in 30 overs is a better result than all out for 30 in 10 overs.

quoted from the battrick rules

"In the event of a team being all out in less than its full quota of overs, the calculation of its net run rate shall be based on the full quota of overs to which it would have been entitled and not on the number of overs in which the team was dismissed."

so you'd be best off getting it over and done with quickly to boost NRR, not to mention PF

44.5 4 Eakanayake to Wotton
Hammered backward of square by Wotton for four runs. That one went like a tracer bullet.
And that's a century for Wotton! Well played indeed Sir!

Ian Wottons first century against St Michele CC, now is looking to hit the top score in matches between the two teams.

My pacemen struggling on a green pitch bit worrying that.

Playing my mate's team at home - flat pitch, I am better than him but I put my best three batsmen in the top three, Dodds, Dunn and Lampard. Dunn scored 170
