Watkins 10-0-47-0

A bit of a rebuilding is in event with Poke going well after losing wickets at 5 over intervals. Im quite pleased as it is a brand new team and im playin top

Muireston vs Benoni CC
Benoni CC 89 (24.5)
Cornwall 5/16 (5.0)
Haldane 4/15 (7.0)

Muireston 0/90 (12.1)

Thank you for that. I would give you vCash, if I had some, so for now it'll have to be reps :cheers

Tip: That last wicket took 10 overs to fall. Save your TIEs for games that you can't win. Use GFI, set all batsmen and bowlers to maximum aggression and set your orders to bowl at least one of your openers through. Although GFI drains players at a higher rate, the removal of the team fitness function means it only drains players proportionally to the effort they make, rather than just nuking your team for two weeks. Getting off the field as quickly as possible (and even protecting as many as 3 bowlers from any fitness drains) is more important. One of the main features of this strategy is that you can easily protect your stronger bowlers by using weaker ones to achieve the same effect, whereas on a TIE, your players perform worse. Basically, you are putting the workload on 4 or 5 players instead of the whole side and hopefully those players aren't necessarily the good ones.

Consider using GFI in any situation where you believe you can severely cut the length of your game; you'll not only save fitness, but gain NRR.

Thanks for that as well, but what are GFI and TIEs?

In the match orders, TIE, PAN and GFI also known as Take It Easy, Play As Normal and Go For It. Its below where you chose if you want to bat and bowl and all that.

End of Over 29: 136-0, runrate=4.69, reqrunrate=5.67 (254-10)
Fisher 8-0-30-0
Harbin* 73 (99 balls)
Pollock 51 (76 balls)

nicely poised but could do with losing a wicket or two to bring in my better, more attacking bats. Usually expect one of the openers to grind about 40 odd and one to fail. With the next three coming in and scoring the bulk of my runs against the weaker guys. but this team has a balanced (all round decent maybe 1 weak link) bowling attack and both openers got in but are scoring a bit too slowly for my liking

Both Myall and Robinson failed in their last game. :(

1.2 W Mcdermott to Robinson
That one found its way through the thinnest of gaps between bat and pad, the ball then ripping the middle stump from the ground. It's still bouncing as Mcdermott celebrates!

2.3 W Kealeboga to Myall
Myall tried but he couldn't pull the bat away quickly enough. Great movement off the seam and it flies into Rogerson's hands.

Garricks who comes back for his final game has stepped up and hit a half century.

End of Over 20: 116-3, runrate=5.80
Disley 5-0-34-0
Garricks* 55 (46 balls)
Jepson 45 (61 balls)
Last Wicket: Sturgess lbw b. Kealeboga 0 (FOW: 15/3)

ROSS XI V ST. MICHELLE

End of Over 24: 134-1, runrate=5.58
Corcoran 2-0-6-0
Falken* 13 (29 balls)
Davies 50 (66 balls)

Last Wicket: Sekhon b. Corcoran 62 (FOW: 100/1)

Sekhon got 50. We were going at 6.4 an over then, now we are starting to slow down which is a shame, Davies who got a 50 last game seems to be on fire again, I hope we gets 100-150, I need Falken and Kananelo to fire as well with the bat. Then Quintin needs to bowl well. Its pretty even atm

LATER ON:

End of Over 49: 272-10, runrate=5.55
Hooper 9-0-83-6
Arnolda* 3 (3 balls)

Its ok, a bit dissapointing but it'll do. 91 to Falken, 50s to Davies and Sekhon. Top of the St. Michelle bowlers must have been Hooper with 6-83.

Was a solid start for RB until this

3.4 W Mampe to Sifiso
Jags off the seam and takes the top edge of the bat and balloons straight to silly point!

End of Over 4: 13-1, runrate=3.25
Mampe 2-0-5-1
Salahuddin* 9 (16 balls)
Milton 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Sifiso c. Germon b. Mampe 3 (FOW: 13/1)

My team having a very bad run against WC's team :mad one of my strike bowlers, Karthikeyan is going crap:mad

Code:
9.4 [B]4	[/B]Karthikeyan to Bignot
Advanced, managed to play it past a diving mid off fielder and it goes straight to the boundary.

9.2 [B]6	[/B]Karthikeyan to Bignot
Cop that! Bignot puts Karthikeyan into the carpark!
9.1 [B]4[/B]	Karthikeyan to Bignot
Superb hook shot by Bignot, and Walton desperately dives to try and stop it crossing the rope, but all he manages to do is knock it up a drain pipe; a few minutes later he manages to fish it out and the match can continue.

Initially,

2.4 W Love to David
A short ball and he pulls it to Walton at deep square leg.

6.6 W Love to Kemp
Love bowls a tight delivery which moves off the seam and takes Kemp by surprise. It's come off the bat and arcs towards point where Hamed takes a regulation catch.

At the end of 10 overs,

End of Over 10: 67-2, runrate=6.70
Karthikeyan 5-0-45-0
Flower* 2 (5 balls)
Bignot 37 (30 balls)
Last Wicket: Kemp c. Hamed b. Love 9 (FOW: 43/2)

I really wonder what's going wrong with this Karthikeyan  My bowlers are already in trouble now. lets see...

Bignot trying to use the same trick which he did against Karthikeyan,

10.1 4 Love to Bignot
Just short of a length, rocks on to the back foot and sends it ripping to the boundary past a diving extra cover.

But Love gave him a nice reply,

10.2 W Love to Bignot
Wicket! Late outswing, and a thin edge carrying through to Bishop.

Beautiful delivery to end an important short innings! At the end of 11 overs,

End of Over 11: 75-3, runrate=6.82
Love 6-0-25-3
Flower* 4 (7 balls)
Mcgoldrick 1 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Bignot c. Bishop b. Love 41 (FOW: 73/3)

It should be interesting now.. Does WC's batsmen continue the momentum left by Bignot? Or HT bowlers going to put them in Check?

Good start against the Falcons...

Division 3: Fighting Mongooses vs Sri Krishna Team at Omicron Persei 8

Fighting Mongooses 263 (49.0)
Barton 114
Dodge 92
Searle 7/62 (10.0)
Govender 2/40 (9.0)

Sri Krishna Team 108 (24.3)
Bhutia 66 n.o.
Cable 4/29 (5.3)
Wharrad 4/46 (7.0)
McKinley 2/12 (5.0)

A spirited 190 partnership from Barton and Dodge enabled Fighting Mongooses to exact the pressure on Sri Krishna Team with a good score, although a potent final spell by Searle eliminated the possibility of an enormous total.

It then came time for SKT to bat and although the top order was able to match Wharrad's aggression, it was in the end a fine display of fast bowling as he single handedly removed four of the first five batsmen. The spinners made short work of what was left.

End of Over 19: 105-4, runrate=5.53
Walton 3-0-9-0
Stifler* 2 (8 balls)
Mcgoldrick 21 (30 balls)

Last Wicket: Flower b. Hamed 7 (FOW: 97/4)

Now it seems i cant even reach 150 :( :p Tigers are really danegrous sides .

Tough luck, Viral..better luck next game! :cheers And good win Angy!

And in my match, Hamed provides a breakthrough,

17.2 W Hamed to Flower
What a cracking ball. Flower couldn't do much about that one.

At the end of 19 overs,
End of Over 19: 105-4, runrate=5.53
Walton 3-0-9-0
Stifler* 2 (8 balls)
Mcgoldrick 21 (30 balls)
Last Wicket: Flower b. Hamed 7 (FOW: 97/4)

Though RR is going great for RE team, getting rid of their 4 top batsmen in first 20 overs has been a great positive for my team bowlers. If Karthikeyan had done well, it would have been much more better.. ;)

Looking at your team's recent performances, it's a even contest for both our teams tbh. Game can go in either way. It depends on the target which you set. :) Also remember, it's the same team(HT) which failed to produce an impact against Record Breakers. :p

Next 15 overs going to be very crucial for HT bowlers, :upray

End of Over 20: 108-4, runrate=5.40
