Jaz, this match could have been scheduled in my ground.. We would have got 6k extra... i.e around 13K! Thats why I always say, it would be better if the fixtures are scheduled based on member's confidence and big ground.. We should think of utilizing the maximum gate receipts which BT offer us.. Why should we waste that ;)

End of Over 48: 296-4, runrate=6.17, reqrunrate=3.50 (302-3)
Stroud 9-0-65-2
Kretser* 57 (52 balls)
Bhapalkar 32 (15 balls)
Last Wicket: Prabhakar c. Ramprakash b. Patanjali 130 (FOW: 243/4)

If i can take 3 wickets in one over then i can win . :upray :upray

Funknath added 3 Minutes and 52 Seconds later...

Lost my match :(

LOL, Funky and you were so confident. My match is pretty much in the bag. Bought Coutts before the match started and he has done well opening. Matty Pretorius also got 6 wickets :D Had to use an interesting batting line-up due to PFL issues

End of Over 13: 70-0, runrate=5.38, reqrunrate=3.19 (187-10)

Flitney 7-0-41-0

Lester* 27 (41 balls)
Coutts 39 (40 balls)

23.5 W Coutts to Bishop
Bishop shoulders arms and is dismayed to hear the woody sound of doom as his off stump goes cartwheeling away towards leg slip. Superb bit of swing bowling by Coutts.

Finally the big man is gone but the damage has already been done. Suren should make 250+ here comfortably.

End of Over 25: 99-2, runrate=3.96
Burger 3-0-9-0
Alshaun* 1 (3 balls)
Malik 39 (84 balls)
Last Wicket: Bishop b. Coutts 56 (FOW: 97/2)

End of Over 22: 102-3, runrate=4.64, reqrunrate=3.43 (197-9)
Raettig 1-0-11-0
Gate* 29 (34 balls)
Ahmed 30 (45 balls)
Last Wicket: Ahmed b. Samuel 31 (FOW: 49/3)

Things were touch and go when that wicket fell, had I got another one or two I reckon it would have been a match winning posistion, but as you can see, BC will probably walk away with a win.

Nearly over. Will be 3/3 :D

End of Over 38: 172-1, runrate=4.53, reqrunrate=1.33 (187-10)

Giquel 9-0-44-1

Tailor* 12 (8 balls)
Coutts 83 (113 balls)

Last Wicket: Lester c. Rheams b. Giquel 65 (FOW: 153/1)

End of Over 45: 193-4, runrate=4.29
Sotho 8-0-47-1
Walton* 15 (9 balls)
Alshaun 51 (61 balls)
Last Wicket: Heads b. Sotho 5 (FOW: 168/4)

You clearly gain the upper hand Jazy... I don't have Karthikeyan and Gayle in my bowling line up.. Its up to Love and Hamed.. If they fail, match is gone ;)

You're in driving seat I'd say, Suren. Seamers pitch and my seamers haven't done enough. 240+ will be out of my team's reach, i'm almost positive. Burger is a spinner and is bowling the last few overs with Sotho so he will get smashed I reckon. You'll make just short of 250, I feel.

I would say, it depends on first 15 overs in second innings. Lets see :)

All you need is love ;)

haha.. Ya, if he takes on Love, I am gone .. Though Love hasn't been dominative because of his steady natured bowling :p Oh ya, Congrads Tom.. I also wanted to play your team.. Come up to my division :)

Well, some handful partnership at depth overs,

End of Over 48: 219-4, runrate=4.56
Burger 9-0-47-0
Alshaun* 61 (69 balls)
Walton 31 (19 balls)
Last Wicket: Heads b. Sotho 5 (FOW: 168/4)

Sotho needs to get a wicket in his last over to make sure that Burger doesn't concede too many runs in the last over. 243 is the score I reckon you'll get. ;)

My batting lineup is too weak for Love, although if he was a spinner I'd have no trouble today. Alas, he is not and I will struggle.

End of Over 50: 239-4, runrate=4.78
Burger 10-0-56-0
Alshaun* 66 (75 balls)
Walton 45 (25 balls)
Last Wicket: Heads b. Sotho 5 (FOW: 168/4)

So HT sets 240 for Jazy to win. :) Very reachable target.. But I was impressed with Walton ... He played like a Albie Morkel today :p Oh ya, Alshaun and Bishop did well for helping to put some decent score to fight for. :)

I said 240+ would be too much for my lads and it's right on the dollar... 240. I actually don't know whether I will win or lose, it's a strange one to call. I'll go for a gamble and say we'll skittle out for 186 off 39.1 overs. :p

End of Over 17: 89-1, runrate=5.24, reqrunrate=4.58 (239-4)
Clarke 4-0-22-0
Mcdonald* 41 (50 balls)
Cahill 40 (50 balls)
Last Wicket: Wylie c. Alshaun b. Love 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Suren was 76/1 at this stage so almost identical apart from I'm going a little bit faster. A bit of history for everyone. Shore Athletic have played HuntingTigers 4 teams before today's match, with HuntingTigers winning all 4 affairs. Alshaun, Malik and Field are the only three players, across both teams, to have played in all 5 matches, including todays.

11/03/2007 - HuntingTigers won by 6 wickets
29/07/2007 - HuntingTigers won by 7 wickets
06/04/2008 - HuntingTigers won by 4 wickets
21/09/2008 - HuntingTigers won by 224 runs

This is the closest contest so far and I feel this could go down to the wire.
