Commentary Thread

Sorry jongoh wasn't meant to play my best 11 today, they were meant to resting after their fishing trip ;)

End of Over 7: 15-10, runrate=2.14
Fernandes 2-0-5-3
Menzies* 0 (5 balls)

Playing the team which is in 3rd position The Championship in FC League. And im playing my 2nd XI.Good RR still now but lost many wickets.

Code:
End of Over 13: 83-5, runrate=6.38
Cumberworth	3-0-26-1

Stevens*	19 (13 balls)
Midson	0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Birley c. Sicelo b. Raven 40 (FOW: 76/5)

End of Over 20: 218-0, runrate=10.90
Gadiyar 4-0-54-0
Dawber* 108 (67 balls)
Flower 110 (53 balls)

Playing a friendly T20 and Flower is more crazy than Dawber :p

I seriously don't know what T20 match I am playing now.. I didn't arrange any friendly.. I was out of the T20 league last Monday.. But some game is going on

HT, End of Over 5: 30-6, runrate=6.00, reqrunrate=13.27 (228-0)
Cairns 1-0-7-0
Robinson* 11 (7 balls)
Bishop 1 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Field Run Out 11 (FOW: 28/6)

haha, I am not bothered actually what's goin on.. I also did TIE through out this week...

@ WC, the game which I played you was on TIE... But still managed to come close to you and felt short of 20 runs. :) I can't believe when my team performs when I expect them not to :p

And that's the end of the match. Haverhill Bats won by 4 runs.
Haverhill Bats 178-0
Shore Athletic 174-1

Haverhill Bats Shore Athletic
Top Order: wonderful proficient
Middle Order: respectable competent
Lower Order: abysmal woeful
Seam Bowling: respectable strong
Spin Bowling: strong respectable
Fielding: woeful mediocre

He could of improved his middle order and seam whilst I could of improved a few areas, but only a little bit. Still did well to restrict his wonderful opening pair from scoring 200+ and almost chased it down. Good match. :)

Well, in the match Vs Griffo, I have been put into bat...

End of Over 50: 321-2, runrate=6.42
Mbeki 10-0-77-1
Bishop* 169 (133 balls)
Alshaun 38 (27 balls)
Last Wicket: Robinson Run Out 43 (FOW: 241/2)

Bishop has done a tremendous job.. :clap And the opening partnership of 126 runs laid the platform.. Now have to see how my bowlers respond to this.

Since Griffo has a good batting line up, the match is not yet over. :upray

haha i love this commentary,

There are rumours abound that a rich arab businessman might be looking to take over and invest heavily into the home team. No doubt the rumours aren't helped by the small group dressed up in traditional arabic style gear in the crowd. Oh, dot ball.

:laugh :laugh :laugh

Lol holly crap come on to see this, I looked at the 99-5 first but moving a bit to the right I saw 10/120 which put my anger down a bit.

End of Over 21: 99-5, runrate=4.71, reqrunrate=0.76 (120-10)
Sinclair 4-0-17-2
Crouch* 11 (15 balls)
Ray 5 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Germon c. Naykutse b. Subbarao 0 (FOW: 92/5)

All I can say is congrats RB you've won these two won't last long.

Just had a look at the commentary, Saywer 5/7 wow!

And for RB looks like a strong and prof guy is ripping me apart!

congrads Syl on winning that game :thumbs

And in my match against Griffo,

End of Over 19: 93-2, runrate=4.89, reqrunrate=7.39 (321-2)
Gayle 3-1-19-1
Wotton* 21 (24 balls)
Nicholls 13 (14 balls)
Last Wicket: Nayar lbw b. Gayle 34 (FOW: 63/2)

These two batsmen are disturbing the peace of HT captain :p Com'on boys, we need a wicket :upray

Those 2 batters have been the star for Griff lately.

Was very painful to watch from that point I posted. The batters were taking 1 run an over! That was just asking for trouble with Whitehouse coming up in the 40th over. Luckily Crouch finally performed and Ray stuck around for a bit until he got out with 5 runs needed.
Crouch whacked the next ball for 4 and managed a single to tie the match. Mampe then grab 2 to win it.

Would have been very annoyed if I BT collapsed again as RB tail did pretty well after I had him 6/70.

ATTENTION SYL (Relates to our most recent msn convo)

After doing research ive noticed Nayar hadnt opened with Defensive orders and I think his performance on Invig was enough to suggest he can do it (He made 34 from 48 on Invig)

End of Over 32: 167-4, runrate=5.22, reqrunrate=8.61 (321-2)
Walton 6-0-29-0
Jepson* 14 (26 balls)
Wotton 57 (50 balls)

Last Wicket: Mbeki c. Bishop b. Gayle 14 (FOW: 145/4)

Mbeki needs to do more with the bat for someone with his ability... batting depth is needed for sucess but this isnt a real contest with my team destroyed, i need a fully fit side on uneven to see where im at

Hamed removes Wotton :)

36.2 W Hamed to Wotton
Went for the big heave-ho, but completely missed it! He hangs his head as he makes the long walk back to the pavilion.

And the scorecard is,

End of Over 37: 202-5, runrate=5.46, reqrunrate=9.23 (321-2)
Hamed 7-0-42-1
Marshall* 1 (1 balls)
Jepson 30 (44 balls)
Last Wicket: Wotton b. Hamed 71 (FOW: 195/5)

Lets see how it goes on from here :upray

How does your fresh bowler take 3 wickets... in that case i should of played McDermott

End of Over 40: 222-5, runrate=5.55, reqrunrate=10.00 (321-2)
Walton 10-0-49-0
Jepson* 36 (51 balls)
Marshall 11 (12 balls)

Last Wicket: Wotton b. Hamed 71 (FOW: 195/5)

Welcome to Pedia Oval for the match between Wiki Wanderers and Shore Athletic.

We can tell you that Shore Athletic won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy day.

Wiki Wanderers to score 250+ and for me to skittle out for just short of 200.

Hamed my boy...:D

43.4 W Hamed to Marshall
The gap between Marshall's bat and pad could have let an oil tanker through. Marshall's stumps are scattered and he trudges off despondently to the pavilion while Hamed is engulfed by his team mates with Bishop and Heads leading the high fives.

Good revenge for the previous over hammering ;)

End of Over 44: 252-6, runrate=5.73, reqrunrate=11.67 (321-2)
Hamed 10-0-67-2
Jepson* 51 (62 balls)
Attwood 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Marshall b. Hamed 26 (FOW: 252/6)

With my strike bowlers, Love and Karthikeyan going to the end overs, have to wait and see what happens ... Com'on boys :upray

surendar added 1 Minutes and 11 Seconds later...

How does your fresh bowler take 3 wickets... in that case i should of played McDermott

haha my team players always surprise me.. When I expect them not to perform, they perform and vice versa :p Gayle's excellent spell with 3 wickets is the turning point for HT...

surendar added 0 Minutes and 58 Seconds later...

And Karthikeyan destroying the tail,

44.2 W Karthikeyan to Hughes
Slight movement away from him and a thin edge is taken by Bishop.
44.1 W Karthikeyan to Jepson
Big nick behind and Bishop launches the ball into the sky. Great bowling!

Bishop is sharp behind the stumps ;)

surendar added 1 Minutes and 43 Seconds later...

Exxxxcelllent...

44.5 W Karthikeyan to Attwood
Karthikeyan, Bishop and Heads all go up together with big smiles - rather like a trio of synchronised swimmers rising from a pool. Significantly less attractive but it's still enough to sway the umpire into raising his finger.

So Tigers marching towards the victory,

End of Over 45: 256-9, runrate=5.69, reqrunrate=13.20 (321-2)
Karthikeyan 8-0-49-4
Wright* 0 (2 balls)
Harvey 2 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Attwood lbw b. Karthikeyan 0 (FOW: 254/9)
