Commentary Thread

Fairly happy with my total against Matt, I should probs have sent Vivekanand in a little bit earlier. He usually opens for me but thought I would drop him down the order. Oh well he had a nice little cameo in the end.

I'm not a big fan of my bowling attack so I'm not overly confident :(

As expected once I get down to Ray I've got nothing.

End of Over 41: 133-9, runrate=3.24, reqrunrate=6.78 (193-10)
Groves 6-1-21-3
Fernandes* 5 (4 balls)
Sawyer 36 (68 balls)
Last Wicket: Hitish c. Spiller b. Groves 12 (FOW: 128/9)

End of Over 39: 215-2, runrate=5.51, reqrunrate=4.36 (262-4)

Bowker* 98 (104 balls)
Van-geersdaele 14 (16 balls)
Last Wicket: Fox b. Hull 91 (FOW: 173/2)

Fox batted well but missed out on his ton. Carn Bowker!

And that's the end of the match. Killers CC won by 91 runs.
Killers CC 337-3
the breakers 246-10

End of Over 46: 246-10, runrate=5.35
Bignot 7-0-34-2
Day* 92 (78 balls)

Carnage.

7th straight win. I am on a roll!

Faced Suren and he played his best team

I scored 62 runs :laugh and he did it losing only 1 wicket. Though my bowler got a wicket :D

I have completely forgotten this match  I did not set orders for my both OD ( friday ) and this friendly match.Hence default team went into play. Sorry Funky, next week, we will have a re-match where I will set the orders for sure.

Easy win for my boys in the end as Bowker and Van-geersdaele guided us home. Bowker scored another not out ton above a run a ball again. He's played 2 games for me and he scored 123* (119) and 128* (121). Great buy :)

Geez another average batting performance. Probably didn't help when I moved Crouch so low. Hope my bowlers get me out of this mess and stop me losing my 4th straight match.
End of Over 19: 120-5, runrate=6.32
Julian 4-1-27-0
Masibulele* 35 (30 balls)
Crouch 23 (25 balls)
Last Wicket: Chavhanga b. Mcintyre 42 (FOW: 63/5)

aussie1st added 18 Minutes and 7 Seconds later...

Now that is the start I was looking for.

End of Over 1: 6-3, runrate=6.00, reqrunrate=6.63 (131-5)
Woods 1-0-6-3
Myall* 0 (0 balls)
Hatcher 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Julian b. Woods 0 (FOW: 6/3)

Smashed it in my twenty20. They got 8/165 off their 20 but my openers chased it down in 15 overs.

Oakley 78* (41) and Fox 91* (52). 0/169 off 15.3 overs :)

End of Over 6: 22-7, runrate=3.67
Ghandi 3-0-11-3
Goodman* 8 (15 balls)
Cranie 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Legg lbw b. Ghandi 0 (FOW: 22/7)

Was hoping for a closer game than this, oh well, at least the lads will be happy today before getting murdured tomorrow and the day after.....

Least it's a win, Justin.

End of Over 7: 43-4, runrate=6.14
Ellwood 2-0-6-1
Muir* 5 (6 balls)
Hodge 8 (10 balls)
Last Wicket: Pilkington Run Out 7 (FOW: 31/4)

Batting on a slow pitch yet I'm quietly confident... :facepalm

End of Over 13: 70-1, runrate=5.38
Best 3-0-31-0
Mulvaney* 26 (32 balls)
Nissanka 39 (44 balls)
Last Wicket: Newton c. Drakes b. Beech 0 (FOW: 3/1)

Batting way to slow. Need Nissanka to keep going, and make a few big scores. He is my keeper, this is his second game opening. If he is successful, he will be my permanent opener in limited overs fixtures.
