End of Over 34: 170-2, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=8.37 (303-2)
Muller 7-0-30-1
Wiederhold* 66 (69 balls)
Uitenbogaardt 12 (33 balls)

Last Wicket: Vivekanand b. Poulter 59 (FOW: 118/2)

Need to get a wicket here.

End of Over 46: 244-8, runrate=5.30, reqrunrate=15.00 (303-2)
Sanders 8-0-40-3
Sandys* 1 (1 balls)
Wotton 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Payton c. Ramprakash b. Sanders 0 (FOW: 244/8)

45.6 W Sanders to Payton
Payton comes half-forward to a probing ball from Sanders and feathers it to Ramprakash behind the stumps. The umpire had no doubts.
45.5 . Sanders to Payton
That one was short of a length but came through knee high, Payton has gone down and had a very suspicious glare at the point where it pitched, then bent and brushed aside an imaginary worm cast!
45.4 . Sanders to Payton
Nice shot on the on side but beautifully pounced on by Hooper to stop the quick single.
45.3 W Sanders to Stifler
Sanders finds some swing and Muller takes a simple catch.
45.2 W Sanders to Uitenbogaardt
Caught in the deep! Sanders bangs it in short, Uitenbogaardt swats it off one leg but straight to Hooper at deep square leg, and that's the end for him.
45.1 4 Sanders to Uitenbogaardt
Uitenbogaardt drives that beautifully for four runs. He holds the pose just to make sure the photographers get a good one for the back page tomorrow.

My bowler couldn't take the hattrick :(

Funknath added 5 Minutes and 5 Seconds later...

And that's the end of the match. Golden Warriors won by 44 runs.
Golden Warriors 303-2
Off Drive 259-10

End of Over 49: 259-10, runrate=5.29
Ashok 9-0-43-3
Sandys* 9 (6 balls)

48.2 W Ashok to Schulman
Schulman saunters down the track and makes an utter mess of the shot, spooning it up into the air and Hooper runs in to take an easy catch.
48.1 1 Ashok to Sandys
One run, Sandys drives it to mid on for a single.

End of Over 15: 97-1, runrate=6.47, reqrunrate=2.51 (184-10)
Walton 1-0-2-0
Teasdale* 60 (52 balls)
Surmon 37 (37 balls)
Last Wicket: Porter b. Karthikeyan 0 (FOW: 1/1)

Going well against Suren, bowlers did their jobs today, so far the batsmen are too!

End of Over 30: 173-1, runrate=5.77, reqrunrate=0.60 (184-10)
Hamed 3-0-21-0
Surmon* 68 (72 balls)
Teasdale 105 (107 balls)
Last Wicket: Porter b. Karthikeyan 0 (FOW: 1/1)

Almost done now, nice to see that Teasedale is getting over his 'Englishness' which is also seemingly no longer having an effect on my other batsmen. Very pleasing to see only one wicket falling and not another collapse.

Rested a few players and got a 10 wicket win.

Hopefully signing Mcdermott from The southern sharks in about 45 minutes, which would see my first XI being very tough to beat.

I don't want to sue the phrase "missing piece of the jigsaw" as I will train him a little too, but he will be a great addition.

Code:
48.6	W	Miah to Khalil
Khalil throws the bat at a slightly wide one, but manages only to clump it vertically. Carr waves his colleagues out of the way and claims the easiest of catches.
48.5	W	Miah to Nadarajalingam
Miah pitches one right up in the blockhole and strikes Nadarajalingam on the boot. There's a sustained appeal from the bowler and finally the umpire raises his finger. Miah's got his man!
48.4	W	Miah to Paul
Paul gets hit right in front on the back foot. Miah appeals and the finger goes up in an instant.
48.3	W	Miah to Hicks-greene
Hicks-greene edges to slip and is gone! Fine catch there by Brisbane. As the departing batsmen trudges off, the sound system plays All Star. Good song I think after that masterful delivery.

:)

I bowled them out for 29 with my new 17 yo taking 5-9. I'm currently 3-334 with Maguire 133*, Plummer 66* and Bowker made 89. :)

I was all out for 207 against the best team in my league (was promoted the season before, demoted last season, and will be promoted again this season), and he is 1/85 in reply.

Last game I was beaten by an innings and 346 runs, won't be like that this time, but it could be over by late tomorrow/early day 3.

Pitch is supposedly slow....

End of Over 17 (2 runs). BFN Bombers: 91-1, runrate=5.35
Roberts 3-0-16-1
Teasdale* 45 (45 balls)
Surmon 36 (41 balls)
Last Wicket: Porter b. Roberts 7 (FOW: 19/1)

... well the scoring isn't, hopefully when I hit my declaration target - and that looks like it'll happen pretty quickly - Samuel and Co. can go out and prove the pitch is slow and take some quick wickets.

Taking the captaincy off Fillery, giving it back to Newton. I have won 9 from 11, including 7 straight, with Fillery (IIRC) but he doesn't have enough experience. He will be a star, and possibly captain in the future, but not for a while yet.

End of Over 9 (Maiden). Killers CC: 15-1, runrate=1.67 (1st Inn: 207-10)
Trail by 232 runs. (Hunter Demons 454-10)
Overs left today: 4
Raven 5-3-2-1
Mulvaney* 0 (8 balls)
Coutts 8 (20 balls)
Last Wicket: Newton c. West b. Raven 4 (FOW: 13/1)

Probably time that Mukhopadhyay proves he deserves his average of 80. Need a big score now. Coutts (first time opening) and Mulvaney (pretty decent) need to make some runs.

I really should be using my time better, but...

End of Over 18 (10 runs). Fighting Mongooses: 72-1, runrate=4.00 (1st Inn: 366-6 dec)
Trail by 80 runs. (Dandies Dimwits 397-10 & 121-10)
Overs left today: 15
Creasey 2-1-10-0
Dodge* 27 (62 balls)
Sephake 31 (24 balls)

Partnership: 10 overs, 54 runs

Come on, you lines of code! You can chase this!

I went down by an innings and 131 today. The guy is the same guy who I lost to by an innings and 346 last time. He is just in a league above, unbeaten, definite promotion.
