Durkin 2-0-9-0
Parsons* 48 (56 balls)
Agyemang 36 (40 balls)
Last Wicket: Fahim Run Out 5 (FOW: 17/5)

Time to press on now. 26 overs to go and plenty of batting to come.

And that's the end of the match. The Palab Tigers won by 9 wickets.

End of Over 6: 37-1, runrate=6.17
Foxe 2-0-22-1
Mckinley* 16 (15 balls)
Rayno 20 (10 balls)

I reckon my first XI could have made a few more runs, not that it would have made much difference.

End of Over 33: 133-5, runrate=4.03
Strutter 4-0-16-0
Agyemang* 55 (60 balls)

Going WAYYYYYY too slowly for my liking, especially on a flat pitch. Need about 280, that's 150 in 17 overs!

Durkin 10-0-45-1
Jaco* 7 (7 balls)
Parsons 90 (141 balls)
Last Wicket: Rudland c. Wilberforce b. Durkin 9 (FOW: 184/7)

Not going to get enough runs on a flat pitch. Parsons has batted horrendously slowly. Will need to bowl them out to win this one, and that isn't likely.

What was his aggression set to? Normal?

If you were doing a reverse order, I dare say your batsmen should have all been very attacking, since the tail could have seen off the new ball, and the best batsmen would be in later in the innings.

It will be interesting to see if I can defend that.

His aggression was on Defensive, but usually that isn't a factor in BT. Defensive batsmen are very capable of scoring quickly when set on Defensive. He probably kept his bowlers on very defensive, or his bowlers are better than my batsmen.

Why in the world was he on defensive?

Because he is cautious in nature. So it is his ideal game.

Tight start.

8.4 W Wheat to Wilberforce
Wilberforce attempted to hit the ball out of the ground there, but only manages to hit it straight up. Wheat takes an easy catch.

11.1 W Stone to Clinton
Clinton tries the reverse sweep and plays straight into the hands of Coppinger at point. Ridiculous dismissal.

That last over went for 20 runs. They're turning it up now. 224 was never going to be enough.

Well, I lost. They chased it in 46 overs. Bowled well defending such a low score, but needed a few more runs. Parsons didn't bat as I wanted him too, need to have another look at that. We were fairly evenly matched going by the reporters summary.

Deserved MOTM for Stanton with 9 wickets

I didn't expect to win with most of my side resting due to PFL issues. Stanton was the only first XI bowler in my side, Pearse and Shackell are only occasional first XI players. It seemed like a really interesting chase from me towards the end, shame I couldn't get on BT and watch it.

Good game and I'll look foward to any future clashes!

I'm fast becoming a one man team. Masi once again my star, Fincher has been useless as usual even moving him down did nothing.

End of Over 49 (Maiden). Baggy Blues: 151-7, runrate=3.08
