hey aussie im manager of the stoners, its kevin fifes debut game today:D he is showing promise already

Oh nice :) If I had know you were on PC I would have gone near full strength instead of saving PFL. Hoping to pull a draw out of this as I'm in a real mess.

End of Over 18 (1 runs). bannermans: 44-3, runrate=2.44 (1st Inn: 80-10)
Trail by 240 runs. (BFN Bombers 364-3 dec)
Overs left today: 74
Sloan 9-2-25-1
Duffy* 18 (36 balls)
Pethers 4 (34 balls)
Last Wicket: Pervis c. Porter b. Samuel 0 (FOW: 25/3)

It would appear that his 2nd innings batting orders are quite a bit more defensive and so far he's avoiding being rolled. Hopefully once the spin twins come on he'll collapse, I want my PFL for Friday damnit!

Hopefully my batters can see out the day if they get in

End of Over 48 (1 runs). SAstoners: 180-4, runrate=3.75 (1st Inn: 402-5 dec)
Lead by 327 runs. (Baggy Blues 255-10)
Overs left today: 103
Sam 9-1-40-0
Griffith* 83 (100 balls)
Rincon-hanna 27 (57 balls)
Last Wicket: Dunn b. Quintus 47 (FOW: 105/4)

End of Over 1 (2 runs). Waughzone: 2-0, runrate=2.00 (1st Inn: 169-10)
Trail by 237 runs. (Mental Blank 269-10 & 139-10)
Overs left today: 103
Stanton 1-0-2-0
Holland* 1 (4 balls)
Corniel 1 (2 balls)

I only added 6 runs to my overnight score. Hopefully Stanton and Angel can work their magic with some good support. Early wickets are defiently the key for me because the run rate isn't a problem.

73 overs to survive
End of Over 2 (4 runs). Baggy Blues: 5-0, runrate=2.50 (1st Inn: 255-10)
Trail by 445 runs. (SAstoners 402-5 dec & 303-6 dec)
Overs left today: 73
Fife 1-0-4-0
Ray* 0 (0 balls)
Chavhanga 5 (12 balls)

46.5 W Stanton to Mcghee
A very fine edge through to Dunn and Mcghee is out. He stands there gesturing, oh so innocently, that he never touched that one - just like he used to do in our under-twelves competition. But today his father isn't the umpire and there's no reprieve.

Yes! I needed that. If I get Holland out, I should win.

End of Over 48 (8 runs). Waughzone: 185-6, runrate=3.85 (1st Inn: 169-10)
Trail by 54 runs. (Mental Blank 269-10 & 139-10)
Overs left today: 56
Davidson 10-0-44-0
Bridge* 2 (4 balls)
Holland 121 (137 balls)

Last Wicket: Mcghee c. Dunn b. Stanton 5 (FOW: 177/6)

End of Over 68 (3 runs). Waughzone: 240-9, runrate=3.53 (1st Inn: 169-10)
Lead by 1 runs. (Mental Blank 269-10 & 139-10)
Overs left today: 36
Pearse 10-3-31-1
Varney* 23 (57 balls)
Shilton 1 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Du toit lbw b. Pearse 0 (FOW: 238/9)

So close. But with 25 runs to win my captain throws the ball to my two worst bowlers in the attack. (A prof/feeble and a strong/competent) and yet I have a wonderful/strong and sensational/exqu bowlers waiting in the wing after they had a fair break and tea in between. Then my wonderful bowler comes on with 3 runs to win and bowls a wicket maiden. The next over my strong/competent (who still had the ball. WHY?) bowls . 1 W. At this point I start to believe I might win but then his number 11 hits a single and his number 9 (Who played very well for his 23 off 57) hit the winning run.

I am so angry at the moment! I've only one won game this season and that was a fairly big win in the cup which I didn't think would be that big of a victory.

Not looking good, only got 1 more batter left.
End of Over 40 (2 runs). Baggy Blues: 165-4, runrate=4.13 (1st Inn: 255-10)
Trail by 285 runs. (SAstoners 402-5 dec & 303-6 dec)
Overs left today: 35
Tretton 12-2-47-0
Quintus* 1 (10 balls)
Masibulele 42 (57 balls)
Last Wicket: Shet Run Out 24 (FOW: 161/4)

Code:
End of Over 7 (9 runs). Off Drive: 48-0, runrate=6.86 (1st Inn: 409-2 dec)
Trail by 46 runs. (The Underarm Bowlers 247-10 & 256-10)
Overs left today: 75
Bockelenberg 4-0-29-0
Stols* 11 (16 balls)
Allerston 36 (27 balls)

Hopefully Allerston can get up to the 50 mark and finish Not Out. Would complete a gem of a match for him having scored 150+* in the first innings. Would really boost his average. For anyone wondering about his averages..

good game aussie, i messed up though, didnt have any internet for a couple days lol, i only did orders on day one, i wouldnt have batted so long in 2nd inns, im happy with a draw, im just aiming not to be relegated this season
maybe i shouldve kept my mouth shut tho, you might not take it easy on me next time lmao

End of Over 50: 255-6, runrate=5.10
Hadland 10-0-58-1
Draper* 87 (97 balls)
Jeremy 9 (6 balls)

Last Wicket: Millard c. Dunn b. Hadland 33 (FOW: 237/6)

On a flat pitch and bowling first, I'm happy with that. Really pleased with how Angel and Clunnie bowled. I don't want to get ahead of myself but I feel that I am in a good position to win this game.

And that's the end of the match. Aussie Bombers won by 7 wickets.
Green Jelly 181-10
Aussie Bombers 183-3

End of Over 42: 183-3, runrate=4.36
Duffy 6-0-33-0
Norton* 101 (120 balls)
34 (43 balls)

Getting much better now. Beat a previous champion of the league who was equal 2nd on NRR last season.

Norton scored yet another hundred. :)

Dam wasted my GFI on nothing

Bowled them for 89 (Sawyer 4-12)
In reply chased it down in 11.4 overs with Moodley continuing his new found form with 46 off 40 and Masi 42 off 31.
