Commonwealth Bank Series (Australia, India, Sri Lanka)

I'd say Australia will be confidant of chasing this down. I reckon India are 20 runs short of what they should have posted at least.

I feel that too, but I think that the spinners can do the damage to restrict Australia to below 259.

I feel Yuvraj must be blamed for this situation. He had already got a huge 6 in that over, and it was like 8-9 runs already there but he decided to go another time and paid the price. Sachin's reaction to that wicket summed it up.

Australia's fielding has been sensational. I have never seen a more superb fielding performance from any team in this world. If they have a chance to win today, they should be thanking those fielders (esp. Clarke).

But I still feel that 259 is a good score to defend on a slowing pitch and with the opposition having two specialist spinners (Bhajji and Chawla! good insight by dhoni to retain them). If Sree, Praveen and Pathan can keep it tight and not let Australia off the hook, then we still have a chance. I wish we open the bowling with Sree and Pathan. No need for him to come one down. He should open the bowling and use all his experience to keep Australia down.

Well india have messed it in last overs..They are definitely 20-30 runs short..It'll be very difficult to defend without Ishant..All on Aussis batsman now..If either of Gilly or Hayden have something for today then It'll be easily chase bale.

C'mon guys, cheer up. We can look at this like the pitch has slowed up. that means it'll help our spinners. Also with swing, Sree can be pretty dangerous. So we're in with a chance.

In the Twenty20 WC final, a lot of people thought that 159 off 20 overs was just not enough score to defend (Dhoni had said on that day that he was expecting 180+). We also had our maverick Sree bowling that day. We didnt have Ishant that day. But we still won.

I am not comparing a T20 to an ODI, but I am trying to say that its still a par score, and par scores have been defended successfully before. One good bowling performance can turn it around. Indian fans - be confident! I feel we are in there!

I was waiting for you Sai!!lol...
ya i am keeping things up..I am confident with Shree and Praveen..We also have two spinners And Clarke took 3 wickets gives that decision some respect.
But I am just saying despite of beautiful Sachin's inning we messed the things in last overs. We should have easily reached to 280..

Given our batting of late this could be more than enough. If two of Ponting, Hayden, Gilly don't get going then we're lose easily.

Edit: Scratch Gilly, not looking good at all for the win now.

No chance..I want him to make at least 50..It might be his last game..I love him.
Anyway good bowling by Pravven..

If that's Gilly's last innings, that's a real shame. Come on Australia. Why do you always stumble in these finals.
