Commonwealth Bank Series (Australia, India, Sri Lanka)

Hoggy is gone, Lee has to provide support to Huss .

EDIT : Huss don't need any kind of support now, he is gone .

last hope is on johnson and lee combination

No, it's everyone elses fault for slowing down with him. They should've played their natural game. They didn't need to babysit him to his hundred. He could've done it himself.

So Gilly had nothing to do with it hitting only 5 runs in 7 overs between overs 30 odd to 40 odd?

gilly was still pretty much scoring a almost a run a ball
clarke had something like 43 of 80 balls an was wasting whole overs.
Then to make it worse aometimes would get a single of the last or 2nd last ball meaning he was back on strike again

Clarke got 43 off 69. Thats about the average strike rate for a number 4... maybe a little bit slower though.

We have lost our last 5 wickets just for 25 runs  Horrible

GONE BOWLED OUT. Malinga has 4. we are bowled out. terrible batting by australia. i was hoping at least 270. Should be a walk in the park as far as Sri Lanka are concerned.

He had plenty of time. He could've taken the whole 20 overs. The others didnt need to bloody nurse him there. Clarke should've attacked and not just chip the ball around. Same with everyone else.

I think total is enough for AUSSIS to defend.srilanka have to play 50overs not 21 to chase the total.much depend on jayasuriya.on other hand bracken is in good form with always dangerous lee..

So the guy on 30 odd with a bruised rib should have attacked instead of the guy on 80 odd and played in?

Jeez, how did they end up 236 all out? Everything seems to be all out of context besides Gilly's century. And a bad start so far.

If he couldn't attack, then he should've retired hurt.

He shouldn't have been required to attack at that stage. If everyone got a single every ball thats 6 an over. Gilly was played in so Clarke was trying to push singles to feed him the strike, not Clarkes fault that Gilly didnt push on with it.
