Commonwealth Bank Series Feb-Mar 2011/12

I slept off even as Australia lost their top 3 wickets. Didnt expect this kind of reaction though.

Having got the monkey off their backs, they should now concentrate on trying to play at par in the tri-series. Despite the victory, I am still not convinced about the team's performance in the tri-series.

fried chicken off team Australia. This is where you deserve to be, LOSERS!

Your only win since you've come here win against our 2nd string T20 side, good job.

Your phucked mate. Stfu. Like totally no offense there bruv.

OMG! Shut up. It's just a T20 and we did well. The Aussies have outplayed us in TESTS..great job by the Aussies. Stop offending others after a win. No Aussies "here" offended us after the white wash. So, keep the pact moving.

I apologize on behalf of whole India for this post. It is due to these kind of people is why we have so much less reputation for Indians here. I respect Australia efforts and India shouldn't whining after one T20 match. We shouldn't forget Australia owned us in Test Matches. Sorry all Australians, not every Indian is like this. I again apologize for that!

Ah, FINALLYYYYY!!!!!! It feels weird but it feels like someone has repaired a pipe that had stopped flowing for years now. Feels great to have a win overseas after so long. For all those people watching Indian cricket and enduring through lot of pain, this was a powerful boost of a tonic.

I think it bodes well that the ODI series should be much more competitive hopefully. Again, it's amazing the difference watching the fired up and dynamic young Indians compared to the static and fading forces of old.

Well who changed the font and the size?

Oh AngryAngry did this! Well thanks, my post has made a good impact here. ;)

So my post makes such an impact that the entire nation needs to apologize, great! :lol

Yeah, not every Indian is as passionate for the game as me, any problem?

Passion is not an excuse for being a tool. I wouldn't say the English football hooligans were excused on the grounds of passion?

If anything I've seen some seriously passionate Indian fans on this forum, who through every ball of two dire tours were still remaining dignified and magnanimous. They felt every bit of hurt and dissapointment, and will enjoy the feeling that winning brings, however, they will do so enjoying the company of the fans from other teams, because the passion we all share is for Cricket.

Yes I know what was written there was not appropriate but the part I don't get is the "2nd string T20 side". Who's in your main stream T20 side then? Michael Clark, Ricky Ponting or Cameron White?

Australia lost and so they are losers, it's a normal English word. ;)

Edited it although it doesn't make a difference. :)

Just watched the replay of the match. India's fielding was electrifying and brilliant. Jadeja, Raina, Kohli and Rohit absolutely fired up the effort with their brilliant fielding. And boy, MSD looks a completely different player in coloured clothing. That stumping and that dived catch was excellent. It was our fielding that won us this game and Dhoni is right when he said this effort can be hard to beat. But I hope we keep it up for the ODI series.

I think seeing Rahul Sharma's performance, Ashwin should feel under pressure because I think Rahul Sharma stands a very good chance of being in the XI for our first ODI on Sunday at Melbourne. With Jadeja being terrific on the field and very frugal with the ball, its Ashwin who could face the axe for the first ODI to accomodate Sachin Tendulkar. Ashwin was economical, but he didnt pick any wickets and his fielding is being considered below par these days. India should persist with Rohit and not let him fade away. Dhoni is going to be very crucial with his batting in the ODI's. Even in that rain marred ODI series in England, Dhoni scored good runs. He is a fantastic ODI player, and also he is in form right now (with 48* and 21*). He needs to bat up the order consistently in ODI's and T20's and he will make an immense contribution.

This win will finally bring some self belief back in the team, its just a T20 but the team desperately needed a victory because of the constant pressure which was building with each loss. Like I said before, the ODI team looks much more balanced, people are underrating India, but I guess India has a really good chance of winning the ODI series.
