Whats up with Dhoni's team selection? The same bowling attack that played the T20 match (Praveen and Vinay)???? Absolutely tripe.... Does it mean Zaheer and Yadav are rested? Why does Yadav need rest? Good that Sehwag is rested and Sachin is coming in, but our pace attack is awfully bad. Dont care how many lucky wickets Vinay takes, but he is a misfit in that XI.

Is Vinay Kumar going to be our future in the ODI's? Its depressing everytime I see his name in the Indian XI in any format. If they really needed a medium pace bowler, Irfan could have been picked. He adds to our batting too, and he is far more reliable as a bowler than Vinay.

its a long series, so Zak and Yadav will get chance in some point of the series. Wicket looks little dry according to Ian chappel so that could be reason of picking 3 spinners. Vinay Kumar was probably our best bowler in t20 matches, so he deserve a chance ahead of Irfan.

i guess they just did not have the voice to tell rohit that he was not playing this one too, so sehwag rested for tendulkar to come in
