Zak's been rested. Why is Zak being rested?

That was the right decision. Zak's fitness is so fragile. In fact, its time Zak is asked to preserve himself completely for test cricket and is asked to voluntarily retire from ODI and T20 cricket. He is not willing to lose weight and work on his fitness. But we need his bowling badly in tests. So better he focus on one format and give up the rest soon.

Looks like India will never bat first this series... Bl**dy hell...

That side definitely won't happen, Wade is wasted down at 8. Swap him for Forrest and bring in a bowler and you have the lineup.

Hopefully Clarke evolves his game as Forrest and Clarke are pretty similar types of batsmen.

Ye for real, also if M Marsh comes back down the line you could probably have him in the XI instead of Forrest, would give the side a lot of all-round depth.

Good news out of the Ponting press conference. No plans to retire, but has accepted he probably won't play ODIs again.

He wasn't going to jump until he was pushed imo. Should read "Australia retire Ricky Ponting".

That should have been out. All this "spirit of the game" needs to go to the trash. If he is out, he is out. I wish Sachin stops interfering in all these things. The last ball of that over, the non-striker did it yet again suggesting that he has not learnt from it. Batsmen will now start to think that they can get away with it by the "fair play and the spirit of the game" nonsense... AND HE IS CONTINUING TO DO IT IN THE IRFAN OVER NOW!!!!
