Firstly, it's very harsh when only two batsmen didn't fail to do the job, secondly, it creates an unreasonable image of the other batsman, Hussey for example, the great finisher, has scored just one half century on the chase. Sure, a more experienced player will be less likely to drop under pressure, but the pressure there was beyond reason. Score 200 batting with the tail?
I do see your point, he should have made more of an effort, with better resolve and finish the innings regardless of the total. However, the bowlers failed to keep the total under control and the six batsmen before him failed to make decent inroads on the target. It's very harsh to make him the fall guy, especially when he put in a decent bowling performance.
