In a latest conversation with Peter Handscomb , Peter confirmed that he would not be available for the full County Season . Peter with very deep regret said that he would've to end his contract with Gloucestershire just because of the upcoming Ashes series 2017-18 which would start around 4-5 months time . He just said to us that his major aim now is to concentrate batting in the Australian wickets after a long County season in England , just to adjust himself in the fast & bouncy wickets . Therefore , he would now return back to Australia for a full fledged Domestic season there .

As a result , we had to end his contract & release him , after signing him again prior to the Season .

Gloucestershire (Naman Thakur) Left: £6.500

(L) Johannes Myburgh £35,000 contract for one season
(L) Darren Stevens £57,000 contract for two seasons
(L) David Wainwright 27,000 for two seasons
(O) (T20) Hamilton Masakadza 18,000 for two seasons
(O) (R) David Hussey £90,000 contract for two seasons
(O) (T20) John Hastings £25.000 contract for one season (Draft)

@Naman Thakur

Few good signs from Gloucestershire, Stevens is surely the player to go with, under which the team will rely on with a major contract of Hussey who has a terrific record in county cricket. Masakadza is a fantastic pick for a 20 over player, has a pretty good record. The only thing is that the team lacks wicket-keepers, they is only one making him play for majority of the games.

Northamptonshire (CerealKiller) Left: £79.500

(L) Owais Shah £50,500 contract for one season
(L) Jonathan Clare £35,000 contract for one season
(O) (M) Kumar Sangakkara £135,500 contract for one season
(O) (T20) Corey Anderson £29,500 for one season

@CerealKiller

Sangakkara is definitely the pick of the contract here, Owais Shah was an interesting pick tbh, alot of teams had interest in him, haven't played much of the cricket recently, no wonder why he was free agent having aged 38 with no form. Overall, the team seems to be balanced.

Derbyshire (Nitrogen) Left: £79.000

(L) Maurice Chambers £39,000 for one season
(O) (M) Kieron Pollard £49,500 contract for one season
(O) (R) Wayne Parnell £44,000 for two seasons
(O) (T20) Andrew Tye 22.500 for one season (Draft)

@Nitrogen

The main player as Pollard is weird, I don't think he is a specialist red-bowl player, surely the manager could have gone for Tye who is rather a specialist. However, Chambers is such a good pick, should be a key player with the bowl.

Hampshire (Akshay.) Left: £25.000

(L) Carl Cachopa £27,500 for two seasons
(O) (M) Rilee Rossouw £55,000 contract for two seasons
(O) (R) Will Young £38,000 contract for two seasons
(O) (T20) Cameron Bancroft £29.500 contract for one season (Draft)

@Akshay.

This contract of Rossouw is definitely a good one and the back-up of Kiwi batsman is unexpected. That pick of Will Young is the highlight of the auction. Pretty balanced side as well, bowling looks good so does the batting.

Somerset (Pinch hitter) Left: £26.000

(L) Kyle Coetzer £27,500 contract for two seasons
(L) Gareth Andrew £34,000 contract for two seasons
(O) (M) Marlon Samuels £49,000 contract for two seasons

@Pinch hitter

Having Gareth in, is absolutely impressive, considering the bowling line-up they had, will be key for them with the likes of Gregory and Arafat. Samuels is certainly a valuable player, does have a decent record which balances the top-order.

Glamorgan (Na Maloom Afraad) Left: £62.500

(O) (M) Yasir Shah 60,500 contract for one season
(O) (R) Glenn Maxwell £95,000 contract for one season
(O) (T20) Mitchell Starc 41,000 contract for one season
(O) (T20) Usman Khawaja 55,000 contract for one season

@Na Maloom Afraad

Pretty good signs from the auction, Yasir Shah would be compelling as the english wickets wouldn't have much spin. Would have gone for Khawaja as main player but then again the batting from Glamorgan is pretty damn good, which made them to choose a bowler, I suppose. Good picks overall.

Essex (Saroj Padhy) Left: £49.500

(L) George Dockrell £26,000 contract for two season
(L) Will Smith £34,000 contract for two seasons
(L) Bradley Wadlan £42,500 contract for two seasons
(O) (M) Colin Munro £64,000 contract for one season
(O) (T20) David Miller £42,000 contract for one season

@Saroj padhy

An exciting pick of Colin Munro as main player, he has a remarkable record in FC with almost a strike rate of 100. That pick there is such a good one that it will fortune the team moving forward. The strategy of picking Bradley Wadlan is good, surprised nobody were interested, however this team looks to be dominating Divison Two.

Lancashire (Jack Ryder) Left: £14.000

(L) Dan Redfern 30,000 for one season.
(O) Michael Bracewell 45,000 for one season.

@Jack Ryder

The team looks pretty balanced, that they didn't really want to pick players in the auction, they weren't financially supported, but Bracewell as main is okayish, could have picked T20 contract instead, but hey it's a nice pick regardless.

Warwickshire (Perfect Square) Left: £24.500

(O) (M) - Fawad Alam - £100,000 (contract for one season)
(L) - Jack Winslade - £18,500 (contract for one season)

@Perfect Square

Alam went quite expensive but was worth the price with the record, they really backed him up. Winslade, being young is not a bad pick, does give options to bowling. Pretty decent side, does have a few big names.

Kent (Fake Passport) Left: £10.000

(L) Andrea Agathangelou £41.000 contract for two seasons
(O) (T20) - Tim Southee £27,000 for two seasons
(O) (T20) - Chathuranga Kumara 33,500 for two seasons

@Fake Passport

A lot of bowling options, with Rabada as main, looks solid. Good T20 picks, a compelling about Kumara on how he goes in T20 considering, a decent record.

Sussex (ABDULLAH) Left: 54.000

(O) (M) Michael Klinger £100,000 contract for one season
(O) (R) Ravi Ashwin £75,500 for two seasons
(O) (T20) Mitch Marsh £37,500 contract for one season

@ABDULLAH

Having Klinger will make a massive difference for them, surely does handle things pretty well whether given as an opener or in middle of overs. Looks decent with likes of Nash, Joyce and Wright. Not to forget, the bowling is damn good. Not sure about the pick of Ashwin as reserve, doesn't normally play in english conditions too often.

Worcestershire (Sami Kumar) Left: 100.000

(O) (R) Angelo Mathews £85,500 contract for two seasons

@Sami Kumar

The most underrated team, still a developing side, Henry will be key for them as overseas, would be interesting to see how they make a move on with tactics.

I wouldn't like to have a coaching session, yet. Are we going to have the same captain across all formats?

Jacques Rudolph will be our captain. Playing his last season ever, I think it'll be a good sendoff.

I would like to have coaching sessions. I also want to know this ^

Captain - Fawad Alam (FC & List A). Not sure about T20s.

Didn't i already choose the coaching sessions?

No need for coaching sessions now
Our captain would be Billy Godleman (FC,ODI) and Keiron Pollard for T20

Are we going to have the same captain across all formats?

You can have two captains, one for FC and one-day and one for T20.

However its all up to you.

Didn't i already choose the coaching sessions?

You can now name them.

You can give a practice either be batting, bowling or fielding technique.

Fielding Technique
Ground Fielding
Catching/Keeping

Example:

David Hussey: Batting Practice
Chris Woakes: Bowling Practice
Joe Clarke: Catching/Keeping
