Cricket 19 General Discussion

I don't know what to tell you. But I've seen video of catches at shot cover... from the 14 tests I've played on the England in the 90s, I've posted my own video of short mid-wicket, backward square leg, and mid-wicket catches, and a deep mid-off skier.

I also think I saw a pull to midwicket... Which build was it? I think Bavuma was the catcher.. Was it even C19? Was I bowling? What day is it?

Anyway, I've had some good ODIs watching in the background, AI vs AI. Australia beating Bangladesh 4-1 away from home. Wasteyouryouth teams, slightly edited (but not much). Mainly reducing tailender skills to 0 or 1, 2 bars... And I only give perks unless they are really famously exceptional in a certain field. A lot of players had 0 perks. Only batting master was Smith, possibly Warner.

@wasteyouryouth @blockerdave @WealeyH @Dutch

Slightly low scoring but that's got more to do with the conditions, which is great.

Apart from Rahman slapping a quick thirty (I think it's too easy for tailenders in the death slog overs), all of the top strike rates were from aggressive or brute batsmen...

Loads of varied dismissals, slip catches, relay catches, leading edges, infield and outfield.. No stumpings but I will try and sing la la la and carry on and forget about that. I think I've seen them in ODIs anyway...

AI vs AI
Pro Difficulty
Dusty Wicket
Soft Wicket
Default sliders, except batsman timing 30 and bowling quality 80.

This is me bowling btw just to clarify that. But these have been super realistic. The nick behind I didn’t even hear a nick or see a deviation.
In general, I think LBWs come off fairly well. You get some that look a bit unrealistic. That short cover catch I shared the other day I'm pretty sure was pad then bat, it looked great.

i just had an amazing bowled where i bowled a slower ball, batsman was early on it and i took out their middle stump

Had one of those the other night. Slower ball on a fullish length, clipped the off stump.

One of those absolute fist pumping moments the game does give you.

Yep, on my England 90's odyssey the slower ball has given me 2 of those - this one just mentioned and a caught and bowled vs West Indies earlier... both bowled by Gladstone Small
