Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I would like to see the flags waved by crowd in AFL23 , Also need this to be implemented to #cricket24 , as per batting / fielding team support , will be nice to see the team flags waving all around by crowd per wickets / boundaries .

Yeh that would be good on the sub continent in short format games not sure id want it at lords for a test game the atmosphere is massive for me playing the cricket games it was good in c19 it was non existent in c22 you could hit a 50,100 or take a hat trick of wickets and there’s literally no difference from anything else

@JNT BA Look out mate.
Ah yes, the community professional who says things like they are official, also had official in their name at one point, and they know what is happening. They use feelings not facts! I do appreciate all the AI art they post with the one thing AI can't do well yet which is hands. Wow, the hands are bad.

Edit: I had no idea I was even following one of them. That's fixed now. Thanks for pointing that out @Rahul_Rants

Oh wow. Good to see BigAnt still making Cricket games. I bought several of their Cricket games. DBC 14 was the best imo. Its graphics still seem far superior to the latest Cricket 22 graphics (which looks cartoony by comparison if I'm being honest). The gameplay also feels like not much has changed. A long time I had mentioned things like doing say 8 motion captures per shot (or using some advanced AI ragdoll type reaction with a body construct but this is likely too time consuming and hard) and then randomizing it so you don't get the same exact animation for everyone. Also same for bowlers and fielders. Graphics involves lighting which is super key to making it look realistic.
Hopefully they made enough money to advance the game because it is almost a decade since then (I recall buying Ashes Cricket which was a joke compared to DBC 14, both releasing approx same week/month).
Hopefully Cricket 24 will be a true leap and I will continue to support BigAnt.
