I downloaded the new update and when i start it stays on the first loading screen and that's as far as it goes.

installed the 0.97 update.
DB cricket academy is now running at a very low resolution than it would run previously and it's giving me low rendered graphics .
anyone know how to increase the resolution??

Anyone else notice that in the new update on the back of the shirts the letters and numbering are really small on all the uniforms or is it just mine?

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user's name>\My Documents\My Games\Cricket Academy Beta

open config.ini with notpad, and edit the res manually... :thumb

Maybe download again and see if it works? It seems the file wasn't downloaded completely.

You probably downloaded the 295 meg version. Download the 440 meg version from http://www.planetcricket.org/files/BA/casetup_097.exe

Use bootcamp to install windows in your mac and install BA there.

One of the players i created seems to have the bradman bat (victorian) and cant seem to change it. The other batsmen seem to have the modern bat.

I have noticed, You guys have changed the way the players names gets displayed.

If i name the player mahendra singh as first name and dhoni as last name...in the server it used to come as M. Dhoni.

But now it gets shared as a completely new player as M. S. Dhoni. Figured you guys may want to merge players like these.

Half of my players now have two versions in the server without no difference except the way they appear in the server. The teams themselves consists of the newly uploaded players rather than the old ones. to get the old players back i had to delete all the middle names. here is a picture of it to see what i am talking about...top one is the older version where the name in identity is Jacques Henry Kallis but used to show up as J. Kallis

The bottom one is exactly the same except it shows up as a new player where the server just use the middle initial.

Don Bradman Cricket is available on Windows platform only and not Macintosh.So as said before,install any windows above XP via bootcamp.I dont recommend using a VMWare because i dont think it will work in a satisfactory manner.
