Thought you should know, I was still experiencing the uniform bug yesterday.

Default uniform is fine, seems to be with the alternates.

Are you going to use the cricket academy to test sending out updates through the game before release? Just wondering why the patches are all separate installers instead of just something the game sorts out itself.

The game will be an entirely different system for updates, the Beta is done by us in house and pretty much QA'd here too - the game has full QA and updates from within the game itself (fool proof). The Beta is targeted at more than your "average" user.

Console player editor

Hi Ross,
My apologies if this has already been covered (I could only find a reference to the ability to import players without a PC) but will the cricket academy and the player editing function (ie. the ability to create players without leaving your console) be built into the console version of the game?

You can't 'text to speech' into the voices of professional commentators. Microsoft Sam isn't a cricket commentator.

Often games with voices use text-to-speech programs to generate placeholder strings before you replace them with the proper recordings - Robot voices commentating on cricket is weird.

Weirdest one though, one racing game I worked on had placeholder engine sounds provided by the programmers... BRUMM BURRRMMMMMMM, BRRUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMM. SCREEEEEEECH.

Etc. It was hilarious.

Using cricket academy i am not able to change ball,bat and kits sponsors from bigant to anything.is it not possible?..lets say i want GM bat, is it not possible to replicate same in cricket academy? has anyone tried?
