Cricket Academy questions

Not heard from Ross for a while so i'm guessing Cricket Academy could be on its way very soon :)

Probably getting slightly impatient (don't bash me for it though), but I honestly expected Cricket Academy beta to be available by now, judging by the fact that Ross mentioned it was almost done more than a week back.:)

Personally, i dont think its coming out before 1st April.
So lets keep calm.:D

I am guessing they bumped into some issue while testing it. I was hoping to get it this week too since my spring break is going on. Oh well...next week hopefully.

He said it was almost done and about to be sent to the testing stage. If the testers threw up some issues with the Cricket Academy, I'm sure you'd rather Big Ant took it back and fixed the problems before sending it back for testing rather than releasing a buggy mess of a player editor to the public.

Maybe we're all still on the EA Cricket mindset on this forum - release the game with all of its bugs.

lol. I think codemasters were even more guilty of that. EA have in the past been known to at least fix a few bugs. Codemasters never gave any of their games a second thought.

You are correct here. I won't be buying Ashes13 unless most people on this forum are happy with it. However, I will be buying BigAnt's game on release day, as they have done enough to earn some trust from us at this stage.

I don't understand the link. Codemasters have nothing to do with this game.

Actually, you are wrong. Ross did mention that QA testing of Cricket Academy was over last week and they were just testing *installations* on various PC configurations.
