Cricket Academy questions

When is Cricket Academy releasing???Expecting it this week...:yes

Which should be about right for an exhibition match - I hate the 'every match is a full house' that you've gotten in most cricket games.

Yeah but big matches should have a bigger crowd. Also crowd reactions should be mixed throughout the match. If I need 10 off the last over, then even a single run should be cheered.

Edit: Well this video does put to rest some of my doubts....'way' better crowd reaction :D:D

So 'Cricket Academy' allows us to create custom teams and share with others, i'll be making a Kent team first up. :)

Also is there a limit on how many players/teams we can create?

If I remember rightly Ross said there are no limits to how many players or teams we can have.....

I am new here, can someone explain what Cricket Academy is?
I saw a video with lots of different faces (which was exceptionally done btw), but didn't understand what it was all about. Do we get to actually play the game or just create various players?
My question might sound silly, but I am not....lolz :lol

^^ actually ross recently said he needs to confirm that with his team whether they have something similar to DRS in the game.

True!! He did confirm though that there is manual appealing :)!

Ross did imply in an earlier post in the thread that DRS exists in some form. Here's the post from Ross (post #42 on Pg. 3 in the thread)...

"The idea is that the batsman knows if he snicked it or not - we don't want the fielding side to absolutely know.

Afterwards the replays will clearly show what happened.
"

If there's no DRS why wouldn't you want fielding team to know batsman nicked the ball? This only makes sense in case there's DRS and the fielding team will need to take a risk and make a decision whether to go for the DRS review or not.
