We should have chased that down. Bowlers did a decent job to restrict them to 200, batsmen failed to score quickly. Evans was good. But someone from middle order should have taken up the responsibility.

Explanation on pitch types

Damp/Sticky - Massively in favor of bowlers and an absolute nightmare to bat on, unless you're Victor Trumper.
Evenly balanced - Provides an evenly balanced contest for all disciplines.
Green - A lot of movement on offer, which makes it ideal for bowlers capable of swinging the ball. Quite regular to find in most European countries.
Hard - Ideal conditions for batting. Good deal of bounce on offer for fast bowlers as well. Could go either way.
Dry/Slow - Ideal for slow and spin bowlers as the name suggests. Sometimes quite difficult to bat on.

Yeah, I kinda did you a solid by including Philip le Couteur. He's ten times the bowler MacEvoy was at that stage (though he was yet to make his FC debut), or ever turned out to be in his entire life.
