As always guys, if you feel like there's something that can be improved (be it simulation or action mode) give me a shout. There's a lot of work left to be done on the game and I'm always open to suggestions.

@itay128: Hold up - I think I added the wrong thing...the tournament/series player records view should have that information already. Or did you mean that that information should be available in the leaderboards?

@User2010: When you say "include matches in stats" - do you mean that you want to be able to view stats from played matches in tournaments/series?

@kurtkz: It's not to do with the leaderboards... I was just saying the averages and strike rates in the records for tournament/series mode should be rounded off to 2 decimal places rather than to the nearest whole number.

Finally got around to installing it - but when I go to run it the game just crashes on startup unless I run as Administrator. The game runs fine otherwise - and is quite fun once I got the hang of the controls.

That's using the installer download on Windows 7 Pro 32bit.

@MattW: Thanks for the feedback I'm not sure why it needs Admin access, but I'll see if I can replicate it on my laptop later.

@dutchad: I'm also a bit stumped really - I'll add a fix in the next release that should take care of it, but the pitch might look a little funky.

First time in my life I will have had anything to do with being funky...cool. I will wait for the update and see what happens. i too needed to access the game via admin on my lappie.

Hmm, clearly I'm doing something that Win7 doesn't like. Will investigate and fix it if I can.

Some issues noticed:
- The batting powerplay was not enforced at the start of the 36th over, even though it should be automatically enforced (in a 50 over game)
- Batsmen hitting a whopping 161m six

Also forgot to mention that the strike rates in the batting scoreboard in the in-game statistics could also be rounded to 2 decimal places.

unfortunately I'm still bug fixing and balancing at the moment. I'm going to push for a release either tomorrow or Saturday.

Hi all,

v1.45 is now available.

Changelog:

- tweaked simulation parameters for all formats
- added some extra sim parameters
- added time-of-day lighting for 3D mode
- tweaked commentary output
- no need to press Enter when entering registration/login details
- fixed bug at end of series
- averages & strike rates now show 2 decimal places
- fixed bug with massive sixes being hit (130m+)
- minor bug fixes
- fixed powerplay not being taken end of 36 overs
- fixed field texture creation failing on some machines
- added a display for expected time of completion for simulations

Known Issues:

- pulse marker stops pulsing at certain point on some machines (I can't replicate this behaviour)
- using custom teams sometimes crashes the game
- lbw not working 100% (I've sinced fix it but I need to reupload)
- title screen stretched instead of centered
- Win7 requires admin rights to play the game

Non-Issues:

- in HK6, once 5 batsmen are out, you can select a new batsman to be a runner. I've changed the batsman selection screen to reflect this (Select Runner)
- details can be entered via keyboard when the gamepad is plugged in

To-Do:

- new commentary engine
- more balancing for simulations
- speed up simulations

BTW a 30MB game now .. Excited to see what are the things I missed out

The game has transformed from 9MB to 30MB

Hehe, it's just some extra graphics goodies that pushed the file size up. There's no major changes since you last saw it but there have been lots of fixes and tweaks.

So far played a T20 match and it worked smooth as butter. Looks good let me play more and I will tell you if I find anything.
