Quick Guide: Creating New Players/Teams

Create New Players

- edit the import\rosters.csv file (look at the existing players as a guideline)

Create New Teams

- edit the import\teams.csv file
- Flag = filename of the flag image (no extension, the game automatically detects it)
- Abbrev = the short code used when displaying the team name in the game (e.g. RSA = South Africa)
- Stadium = the home ground for the team (this is only applicable for domestic teams)
- International = 0 -> international, 2 -> domestic

When creating a new team you must specify a flag. Drop the flag image in the import folder after editing teams.csv file and when you restart the game, it will automatically update the teams and rosters.

OK, I've reuploaded the patch. Hopefully this one works

Patch v2.18

Changelog:

- resolved speed issues
- imported all teams & rosters
- refreshed flag textures
- fixed various bugs
- tweaked ball-ground friction
- added auto team & roster import functionaliy
- fixed fielding in HK6 & beach mode
- fixed field texture & particles in beach & HK6 mode
- tweaked timing of batting animations
- fixed cloud transitions
- game now uses the AppData folder (should fix Admin mode issues)
- non-registered users can play a full series in career mode

Okay, well the game starts and the rosters are working.

Just letting you know that the players that only have one name, e.g. Noor-ul-Haq, Mahmudullah, Nazimuddin only come up as N, M and N on the team selection sheets.

If you use the full names on the team sheets, that problem will be solved.

btw, when are you going to put in the English FC and OD leagues?

@hedger: Aah, the name issue is because I abbreviate the names in the game. Will fix that up. I'll also add the other English domestic competitions. Should have that ready by tomorrow.

Oh and btw, Unicorns, Scotland and Netherlands (the English domestic squads) should only be a part of the 50 over over league and not the T20 or FC league.
