tweaking hell, I deleted the entire second row (with Philander in it) so it deleted the pace thing so now I can't choose pace bowling, what should I do?

Actually, I now can go 'pick from drop down list' and choose pace but that takes a lot longer.

Ok, all fine now. I just did a new thing so for now it is called cricket heroes database. It's better than template anyway.

Queensland players finished. Will probably do the next team after dinner/homework and then do the final 3 teams over the next couple of days. I've decided for English players, I'm just going to give everyone a default rating for swing and seam and probably spin, probably have a 1.05 or 1.1 pace skill modifier rating for opening batsman and just have a rating for them, unless they are National players which I will give more accurate ratings for swing/seam/spin etc.

Excellent work, hedger! Since work (at work) has died down, I'm trying to push for the Friday deadline. If I finish with some time to spare, I'll draw up a SA roster.

Ok a question regarding Tom Cooper. He plays for South Africa but plays for Netherlands, should I just put down his nationality as Netherlands or Australian?

Anyway, getting through this slowly. Probably going to watch some of the cricket soon as well.

Oops, that should be South Australia. But since I don't think we'll be getting associate teams into an update anytime soon as I'm not that knowledgable with that class of cricket, apart from some of the players.

I'm liking South Australia. They have a fair few players that don't bowl at all.

@hedger: Hehe, very true - filling in the bowling stats takes forever. I *could* include batting stats for front foot and back foot shots, but that will probably just over complicate things.

I wouldn't say forever but normally I do a bit of research as to how fast a person bowls and then what they actually bowl in terms of swing and seam. Batting and fielding is easy, I just give either 0.9, 0.95, 1, 1.05 or 1.1 for the pace and spin multipliers, give players a rating, put a batting position in, give them the defaults for fitness and speed and give them a fielding rating, default for bowlers who I have no idea about I give 65, and them above for other players. Only 4 more South Australians to go
