Bad News:Just checked their site seems their Founder has passed away.Condolences to his Family and Team.

We are consumed with sadness to learn of the tragic loss of Gerald Matthews, the founder of Xteger Labs. He passed away two days ago after suffering a cardiac arrest on Feb 7, 2014. Our thoughts are with his family in this difficult period. As the founder of Xteger Labs and the catalyst behind the revival of Cricket Life, Gerald was working hard to bring CL to the masses. His efforts will now be taken forward by his brother and co-partner, William Mathews, who will strive to complete the mission that Gerald left behind.
What Happens To The Beta Release And Subsequent Releases?
As some of you may be aware, just before Gerald's demise, he was actively involved in releasing a Beta version of Cricket Life HQ. Those who are aware of the efforts of Gerald, would recall that he worked hard to bring the best out of Cricket Life. That effort will now be given further direction by William, who will contact the beta participants shortly for a new schedule.

Very sad news, my deepest sympathy and condolences to his family and those at Xteger.

In the detached environment of the Internet it's hard to process that someone who for the last few months and right up until apparently a few days before his passing I had been in fairly regular contact with could suddenly depart us.

They seem to be aiming more for a well detailed management sim with the first iteration on PC.

I would absolutely pay top-dollar for a management sim that delivers even 80% of the content of FM. ICC has stagnated horribly and CC can't seem to figure out its core cricket engine, so there's a market gap there.
