Day 9 - MaD Skills​

After treva's lynch, only four remained. And, just like that Abhas turned around, used his bat, and smacked BKB1991 on the head. BKB1991 collapsed to the ground. BKB1991 was:

By that time, MaD had grabbed another bat and rammed Abhas in the ribs. Abhas collapsed to the ground. Abhas was:

You are Thilan Samaraweera, Survivor, Team Cricket-aligned. You are the owner of a Bulletproof Vest. If you are targeted to be killed at Night, you will be saved by the vest once. You have one night kill immunity, but the role is passive and only activates if you are targeted. If you are targeted once again, you will die however.

mattfb was in shock when he saw what was happening. He turned around and MaD was behind him, holding his briefcase. MaD used the briefcase to knock mattfb out. mattfb was:

Suddenly, Abhas got up, walked towards MaD, and the two of them shook hands. Abhas had faked his death, like he and MaD had planned to do earlier on. Abhas actually was:

Every night, you may choose to send me the name of one player you wish to bribe with a large sum of money to join the IPL. If the player accepts, he will be aligned with you. As long as you have a successful recruitment, you may only recruit on alternate nights. If your recruitment fails, you may attempt to recruit again the next night. Once you gain a recruit, you lose your night immunity and immunity to investigations too. More commonly known as the Cult Leader.

MaD and Abhas win Cricket Mafia!​

It was also obvious Treva was mafia, I knew it and I was indirectly telling you guys (MaD precisely, as the rest two or IPL) that we shouldnt vote him as we needed IPL player in this lynch is over. Check out Treva's post when he lynched Funknath right after hMarka (the godfather then) did.

Well to round it off, great game, great Stuff LL and Ollie, I really enjoyed it
Much more tactical although I am pissed IPL took it in the end, clearly showing they control the cricket world.

You gotta be kidding, MaD was virtually untouchable. It's no surprise he won, all he had to do was stay out of the limelight and follow the crowd. Should have lynched Abhas instead of Guddu last night but I decided to play it safe and it back fired. Ahh well, it was a good game.

See, I got the fake role-claim of Bkb spot on! Man, for a second he had me fooled, but not for long

Hard luck Matt, but I would have stayed townie if I would have had the confidence that I'll be trusted.. Gazza's lynch messed things up a bit.

To be Honest, I was playing very aggressively, and almost rash to a certain extent, making sure I drop a name every now and then, so that the Mafia would target me at night, and with my Bulletproof vest, it would help save a townie.
Unfortunately, we were never at a consensus about who was townie and who was not.

It was a great game, and I thoroughly enjoyed my last two lives.

MaD's recruitments kept failing, so he didn't lose the immunity. mattfb tracked him before he had a recruit too, so he didn't get any results that Night period.

If people knew more about the Cult before this game, i'm sure I would have way more members, it's only after you guys discovered the Cult that you realized, it's a great team, Abhas showed some serious interest so I figured he'd accept the offer

I thought he was maybe protected when I first attempted to kill him. He following the crowd always made me doubt him big time. Though, I never knew there were any IPL aligned players as well.

Read my post above. I investigated you two nights ago but someone used their role to switch my investigation to Guddu. Wouldn't have made much difference because I wasn't killed overnight. Unfortunately my sacrificing of CG only kept me out of the limelight for a little while and not until the end. I apologise again to CG for that

Well, it was the only logical decision at that time. With 5 people remaining, and town community who might not listen to you, I thought it's better to go for the win.
Otherwise I would have made sure town won.
