That is a nice total by you guys. Though could have got more with 7 wickets in hand.

And you confused me as well. So, your team is bowling. Take the comment above for the other team then and good job by your players to not allow them get away.

sumraXI vs Bengal United - Bengal United's Innings- First 25 overs

Bengal United's opener, Brian Myirha and Carl Maxim was coming towards the crease. They had to chase down a not so difficult total of 250 but the bowlers of sumraXI were pretty gun and they were ready to defend this total. The start for Bengal United was pretty good. They started smacking those boundaries from the second over itself. But Bengal United soon lost their first wicket and it was the Captain of Bengal United, Myirha.

6.2 W Ayub to Myirha
That has been bowled beautifully. It held its line and just found the outside of the bat. Wharrad didn't have to move to take that one.

With a wicket falling so early, Mills came to the crease. With lot of pressure on him he started his innings with a magnificent four. It was Short and wide delivery from Ayub and Mills's onto it in a flash. A glorious pull shot just in front of square. Gordon isn't going to stop that one getting to the rope. Bengal United kinda got into more trouble when they lost their second batsman in the next over. This time it was the second opener, Carl Maxim.

7.3 W Chanderpaul to Maxim
The faster delivery has been edged at pace to first slip. He juggles and drops it, but it's a beautiful diving catch by Tinkler at second slip to spare his blushes.

The new batsman bought by Bengal United last night, came to the crease. Yes, it was Mark Cavanagh who was man who would be giving support to Mills . Both the batsman didn't take any risk at first as they were already two down and it was just 8 overs into the second innings.

End of Over 10: 37-2, runrate=3.70, reqrunrate=5.33 (249-3)
Chanderpaul 5-0-21-1
Mills* 9 (15 balls)
Cavanagh 4 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Maxim c. Tinkler b. Chanderpaul 11 (FOW: 29/2)

After 5 overs or so we finally saw another boundary. Yes, this time Mills smacked two back to back boundaries trying to bring back some hope for the Bengal United. Cavanagh also got into the act as he also smacked his first four in the match and for Bengal United also . The next 2 or 3 overs saw both the batsman remaining quite as they only rotated the strike, but the required run rate was slowly rising and Bengal United was in need of important boundaries. In the 17th over, we saw Mills smacking his fourth four of the game. In the same over we saw a '3' also and that over turned out to be a good one for Bengal United Bruce and Mcshane bowled two tight overs to cover up for the expensive over, Mcshane gave few minutes back. 20th over saw, Cavanagh smack yet another beautiful boundary, trying his level best to turn the momentum towards them.

End of Over 20: 96-2, runrate=4.80, reqrunrate=5.13 (249-3)
Bruce 5-0-28-0
Mills* 44 (44 balls)
Cavanagh 26 (38 balls)
Last Wicket: Maxim c. Tinkler b. Chanderpaul 11 (FOW: 29/2)

The next over saw, Bengal United's star wicket keeper batsman, Darren Mills reach his half century in style.

20.5 6 Mcshane to Mills
It's up and away. High into the stands. What's that children's song? 'Up in the air I fly...'
And that's his fifty! Well played.

We also saw a change in the bowling. Tinkler, arguably their best bowler kept the batsman really quite as he bowled his first over very tightly only giving away a single. Mcshane ruined the tight over as Cavanagh smacked his first six of the game

22.6 6 Mcshane to Cavanagh
He advances down the wicket and lofts it sweetly back over Mcshane's head for six. Great shot!

We see another tight over being bowled by Tinkler, who is slowly proving that he is indeed the best bowler for sumraXI and it will be confirmed if he gets a wicket here. Mcshane on the other hand is pretty much proving that he is the weak link of sumraXI :p as Cavanagh again smacked him for a boundary.

24.2 4 Mcshane to Cavanagh
Ooh, Cavanagh was quickly onto that and punishes Mcshane for what really was a playground delivery.

End of Over 25: 124-2, runrate=4.96, reqrunrate=5.04 (249-3)
Mcshane 6-0-44-0
Cavanagh* 43 (55 balls)
Mills 55 (57 balls)
Last Wicket: Maxim c. Tinkler b. Chanderpaul 11 (FOW: 29/2)

With the game being pretty much balanced midway through the second innings, can Bengal United batsman, Cavanagh and Mills turn this into a win for Bengal United? With still Allott to come in, will both Cavanagh and Mills take risk or will they wait for the last 10 to take risk? Stay tuned.
