dbc hacks: fearsome tweak v2.90 +minigame v0.03

steve nice game ^^ it seems today both warwickshire and somerset are using the hack, they almost completed the game in two days lol

@Dutch @francobaldo1 @blockerdave

Finally got some time using the hack lads.

Surrey v Yorkshire
Lunch
Yorkshire 135-5

Now I'm not sure what I'm really looking out for here but in terms of cricket it was pretty much as realistic as you could get.

1st Wicket: Edge to Keeper off the seamer.
2nd Wicket: After a 100 partnership spinner picks up and LBW reviewed showing to be clipping umpires call stands.
3rd Wicket: LBW to seamer swinging in. No review, however was missing.
4th Wicket: NEVER SEEN THIS! Batsmen advances down to spinner blocks it straight to silly mid off who quickly underarms the ball back to run the batsmen out!!!
5th Wicket: LBW to the spinner 5th ball going the other way catches him in front.

1 other edge was present but my old team mate Harinath decided to drop it at 2nd slip!!

This was on Pro-Normal
Pitch was set to random and produces a Wearing-Very Cracked-Hard

Excellent dismissals and two edges! Are other people seeing more random edges flying about? Suppose you wouldn't want to see it all the time? How do you know the Hack is definitely on?

Class work @francobaldo1 be very interested to see what else you can do.

Also would you mind clarifying what the laughing face thing does?!?! I could of been playing without the hack for all i know? I just had it on and pressure to normal!

wealey thank you very much! hope i can polish the patch soon ^^
when you click on the laughing face the batsmen will always leave the ball, i use it for debug. If it doesnt work reload your savegame and restart the hack,
it should work.

You were using the hack right, all you do is load up the game, load the hack and you're ready to go. I only play ODI's (for now) and I get quite a lot of edges and it's bloody brilliant...so many edges that go wide, some inside edges, you name it they've all happened....

My only gripe with this patch is that the AI seem to find it hard to score runs, usually the runs scored are from a couple of guys who go crazy and slog me about...I do need to test more but that's how it's been so far, I've had some instances where they're doing well and then a big collapse happens and they only make around 200-240 which is still competitive and also keep in mind I haven't tested as much as I would have liked to!

i'm playing veteran, hack normal.

i'm finding you'll get more edges as you get lower down the order. this is good - i'm really feeling tailenders, pitch and weather conditions with the hack. i'm actually looking forward to bowling. it's been great fun.

Just began a new Yorkshire career using the fearsome tweak and it seems to have added a new dimension to the game.
I usually struggle to bowl out Durham in career mode, but look at this scorecard.
Five exciting catches taken behind by Jonny Bairstow.
I'm playing as all-rounder Liam Plunkett (seen below on the Specsavers pitchad), as I like to use a real player in career mode... does anyone else do this?
Didn't take a wicket and usually I pick up at least two or three.
It didn't matter though after bowling Durham out just after tea.
Really enjoying career mode more than ever before and I watched every ball as I didn't want to miss anything.
Also I noticed I had to do much more fielding than normal and have really improved my picking up and throwing during this first match.

Veteran level for career and normal level for the tweak.
Should I now switch off the tweak when batting?

PLAYED only one inning with the hack, it helped me with the seamer as well. Ishant SHarma got 5.

has v1 / 1.1 swung back to being more like the game - the edges tend to go to keeper (albeit there are much more them)? in 0.2 and 0.4 i was getting more varied edges, going to slip/gully/backward point, as well as the ones over their heads/dropping short.

Think its important we don't lose what we had and keep track of what we are or what @francobaldo1 is trying to achieve or we will just get into a muddle.

Ideally the hack with the most unpredictability off the bat is in my opinion what we are aiming for.

Then again I suppose it takes hours of testing as different pitches are going to produce different results!

are you preferring v0.4?

v0.4 is what i've bowled most on, and thought was best balanced. i've only bowled 1 innings on v1.1 - i'm playing through a tour, and was batting yesterday. i'll be bowling later and can feed back more thn.

i think v0.2 gave great edges, but i played it mostly on "high pressure' and i think it was too much in my favour. v0.4 i played on normal, the pitch conditions were great for batting and it produced the best most balanced innings i have ever had on this game. the AI got 310 all out in 110+ overs, and there was a fantastic variety of dismissals: bowled, lbw, caught behind / slip / gully etc.

the innings went: 106 opening partnership, 2nd & 3rd wicket partnerships each 40-odd, 4th wicket with a newish ball, 5/6/7 coming from spinner and "reverse" swing, last 3 wickets relatively quickly with the 3rd new ball but scoring quickly against attacking field. (new ball at 55 overs in my format.)

Had this amazing match which made me feel the pressure for sure..

20160510160854_1.jpg

Played as Australia and simulated batting...Started bowling with Maxwell for a change...It was a different feel with spinner opening the innings and was good to control and even produce wicket taking chances..

Johnson taking the first wicket with a fast paced outswing to Quinton..

20160510145438_1.jpg

Then after this Maxwell managed his first wicket with an arm ball edging to WK.

Even after these wickets falling AI was cruising towards target and suddenly rain interrupted the match but not affecting the overs...

There were so many close chances like edges falling short and run outs missed ,few overthrows as well as a few crucial no balls which disappeared..

After those drama the chase became even closer with them requiring 26 from 28 balls but only 2 wickets in hand that too with both the bowlers who can bat settled...It was really nerve wrecking and had to make decisions on whom to bowl...

With them requiring 24 runs the 9th wicket falls with a full delivery driven in the air to cover fielder as the ball was hard to hit with the pace Johnson delivered it...After that changed the bowler and kept Johnson for the most crucial over the 48th as now they required only 11 from 12 balls..Bringing Johnson in was mainly to get the last batsman out as the batsman facing was Tahir and Steyn who was on the non striker was the one hitting the shots...Decided to bowl inswinging yorkers to get the stumps uprooted but Tahir decided to block it out the whole over and then this meant Steyn took the stike in the last over with Counter Nile bowling the over who wasnt at his best with controlling the deliveries well in this match..1st ball cross seam bouncer on to his face and this shook him up as the next was an outcutter with a change of pace and he tried to slog over the point fielder but only managed to give a catch to Clarke and Australia win by 10 runs...

What a match!!! Hands started to sweat with the pressure in those last few overs...Played on Legend with High pressure V0.4...:D

Again a big thanks to @francobaldo1 for making this possible..:thumbs
