-you can choose now if a batsman is good in hitting strong shots. Use it with different aggression levels to
have batsman with different styles.

It's a little basic but it works, at the end of the week probably will be ready a better version.

EDIT - First impressions are great. Tried turning hard shots off and it clearly affected ground strokes which did not go to the boundary so easily. Aerial shots seem unchanged, but you can turn those down with the mentality slider anyway. I think Attack and Chris Gayle mode is still too crazy though.

Seems like we are getting more control now. A strength slider would be nice, or automatically linked to their academy strength setting, but this is great. Churning out such a great quality of work with these hacks. It's like having a different game.

i tried on max aggressive level with a slightly defensive field, and there are a lot of catch chances. Sometimes the batsmen
will still hit for 6 tough. A fun thing is to bowl a very bad delivery with a spinner, tha batsman will attack the ball and often
will give a catch chance (with "strong shots" turned off).
 
I have Zimbabwe 129/2 off 45 overs, legend difficulty. I have a system where if the batsman averages over 30 in real life they can hit strong shots, but an Alistair Cook for example will bat defensive, and Dave Warner on normal (higher I find is too aggressive). It's nice because there isn't a massive difference, but it is subtle, like in real life.
 
yes batsmen can have different styles. The hack is changing some values that are affected by the strength, however to "see" a more
visible effect probably something in the ball physics must be changed. Anyway deselecting "strong shots" has an impact on the outcome
of the shot.
Will try also this while bowling, to make the delivery look faster.

Would you be able to add a slider for this strength setting or is it an on/off type of thing? Bowling strength would be a cool addition, although I think arm speed actually has a visible affect in the game anyway.

ok, will add it tomorrow, altough it will probably overwrite your save file, so you will have to manually set the strength for batsman and bowler. It will not overwrite the
values in the academy tough, only in the save file.

edit: for example, you are batting with Stuart Broad and you set the strength to a low value. Then when Broad will have to bowl, it will still have the strength value that you used while batting, because the value is overwritten

Dont call it a "hack", replace it with NEW DBC LIFE or DBC REBORN..:D

@Ramz i understand now what you mean that the bugfix only works for a single Tour match, not for 3 match series and other formats. I'll try to fix this.

edit: tough it's still possible to create a tour with 3 different matches and select the stadium for each one. But you cannot use the "3 match series" function, that uses a different menu.

anyone can explain how to get the bug of the mods not working in tour? I cannot replicate it, send me some pictures please if you can.

I'll try but may not get time until tomorrow.

IIRC correctly bats were ok but the logo and kit visual mods, if at the sub-folder level, worked only for the first match then reverted to the top level.

Eg say i have ECC logos and hud at the top level as essex and then a subfolder number 200 as eastbourne. Then the first game touring as eastbourne will show the eastbourne logo but after that it will ahow essex
 
ok, i was able to load some team mods, will see now if i can replicate the bug.

edit: apparently not, i was using a team sponsor that i downloaded for England, and it showed in the first game and in the second game. Sorry i am a noob :)
