Thanks for everyone's patience - after the process on PC we have now finalised the patch for consoles, and it will be available later today on PS4 and Xbox One.

We believe the patch brings big improvements to a wide variety of areas of the game, and resolves a number of key bits of community feedback.

I recently downloaded the DBC17 on PS4 but when i try to download teams, it has trouble connecting to community/academy. Been like this since I started playing. Please help!

I was stating a fact... I know there isnt tracking of stats for those modes because its been discussed ALL OVER THIS FORUM already

You boys sure...? What do you mean by stats tracking there are stats but not as in the main menu 'totting up' someone define what this is leading to as there're stats tracking in the competition modes (not sure about tour).

Well I apologise for asking the question then. Unfortunately, I don't go through all the pages of the threads to notice whether they had already been asked or submitted.

Few questions on fast bowling gameplay...

- Is anyone consistently getting wickets of standard deliveries off fast bowlers? I find that it's only the cutters that work and have the AI in any trouble...
- I think the deviation from cutters is excessive, it almost spins more than a spinner. What is the best gameplay modifier to tone this down whilst still ensuring spin for spinners?
- Is there natural seam movement built into the game? Other than cutters it seems to always go straight.
- What are the pitch conditions and gameplay modifiers best suited to swing bowling? I see swing, but would like to recreate more of a cloudy English day boomerang swing scenario rather than the gentle swing currently seen.
- In a test match I played yesterday, the old ball swung a lot more than the new even though it was later in the day. Is this a deliberate design choice in the game and what are the factors that influence this?

I am probably missing something obvious but cannot find any option to change AI difficulty when playing a tour or competition. I can change it when doing a casual match as the match settings come up. Have looked in general settings etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all,

When playing my career in every test match the ball is pink. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to change to ball to red? It's a minor discrepancy in the grand scheme of things but it is annoying.

Go to options when in the game mate. It will be ur default difficulty

Patch is working for me in terms of stats. In the 'my players' section i.e.

Sometimes in game though, it tends to count the innings I'm about to play as a 'dismissed for 0' and gives the average. It happens sometimes, sometimes not. Otherwise, it's fine.
