Dec 26-30: 4th Test - Australia v England at Melbourne

Will Katich be fit though? Surely almost a month off isn't enough.

Strauss' tactics have been pretty awful. Why on earth would you have just two slips with a lead of over 400!

He has to address his tactics after this series, since England won't really move up without a more ruthless streak.

Agree with you on that. Let Australia play their shots if they want to.

Yea crazy conservative tactics. He could have everybody in the slips until/if AUS get to 400 really if he wanted.

Ponting has escaped a severe penalty yet again. May be the ICC wanted the misery to continue for him. He deserved to be banned for a few matches. But thats how ICC works. This immunity is what keeps him continue with this kind of shameless attitude.

England have got the reverse going very early here. I saw the ball reverse in 18th over .

I'm not sure Prior was even looking at the ball for that stumping.

Bresnan has been a bit of a trump card here, getting an inside edge from Ponting.

Great performance by Bresnan. His selection was questionable but he has justified it with this performance.

Where does Broad find a spot in this team? Bresnan is bowling really well and moving the ball around, Tremlett has been superb since coming in for Broad.

Does Collingwood keep his spot for the next test after the Ashes have been won?
