Geez White really needs to learn to rotate the strike, you can put Watson's wicket down to him not scoring fast enough.

Think England have got this one won. White was the horse for Australia, but he couldn't go on. Will fall short about 30-35 runs.

Should have taken the batting powerplay when Dussey and White were set. That would have taken Trott out of the attack and possibly increase our run rate.

Yeh, Hasting is not a reliable one either. I really dunno how he got considered for world cup, but he bowled well during our last visit to India. I still think, Christian should have been selected.

There goes Hasting, he a definately not an allrounder by any means :mad He is just a bowler.

----------

When we will take the powerplay. after all done :rolleyes

Well looks like england took on board the crap slow bowlers option

----------

Also, 9 commentators said it right. England win when they have a proper leader of the bowling attack.

It worked for Australia with lee back for Australia.

English bowlers finished the game well, didn't give much at all for Smith and Lee to hit although I thought Smith would try a few more funky shots that we have already seen in the Test arena.

Got one too many players doing the Clarke role. Ever since White has been consistent he essentially plays the Clarke role with some late hitting to save his innings. Clarke just plain out of form and now hes playing worse than the Clarke role. This was Dussey chance to shine, like most of his ODI innings to date he looked good then gets out ala Haddin.

FINALLY... England breaks open the cracks that have been papered over by single performances by Watson and Marsh.

Much better from England, some issues in the batting, could've got 330 in an ideal scenario. More runs from the machine and important runs for Prior, he played really well too, until he hit a Smith long hop, it's obligatory for England batsman to get out to a Smith long hop. Crucial runs at the end from Colly and Yardy. Bowling was consistent throughout, Tremlett looked a bit out of sorts today, but the rest were good.
