Yes. Not denying any of that. I would actually rate him as more than a handy keeper.

But is he worth 15 cr ? Out of 29 matches he has 3 50s. Yes, he has batted in lower order many a times but how many matches has he won for his team ? Does he have potential ? He does. I am excited to see how he fares as he is a potential player to take over the wicket keeping duties for India in future. Everyone will be eager to buy him if he was at the auction. But would he have gone for 15 cr or is he worth 15 cr ? I don't think so.

Don't know why Rahul Dravid kept him down the order.I think Ponting & Co. will give him responsiblity to open,where he can use 1st power play and overs after strategic time-out.Where he can built his game.He can be better than Quienton de Kock.(I rate him as Adam Gilchrist,not M.S.Dhoni)

I would take roy over maxwell anyday. Max is hit or miss.

Shami is good for ODIs and Tests. But he absolutely will fail in T20s. He goes for far too many runs in this format.
