Hi Mike, good to see you again!
I remember you said that career-mode related questions will have to be answered in another session. If you can answer them now, I would like to repeat my question from the previous week, i.e. in the career mode, will there be messages or certain instructions from the captain sitting in the dressing room? For example, to rotate strike, keep wickets in hand, go berserk. Similarly, when we are the captain, can we advise our bowlers to bowl to a plan, or to our batsmen to play accordingly to our plan?
On the other hand, I would like to question about the following things:
1. Is there the 'dew factor' in the game? If yes, how much does it affect the gameplay and the toss selection? (To AI too)
2. Will there be cut-scenes for the toss? What about pitch reports, team discussion, etc?
3. As you mentioned that the current gen platforms don't have enough resources to let us pick the exact bowl by looking at the hand of spinners, is it going to end up as merely guesswork? Your comments on this please.
4. In games like EA 07, it was almost impossible to play shots like cover drive and square-cuts. You will almost always nick the bowl as your confidence wasn't high enough. How difference will DBC'14 be in this regard? Will we able to execute your shots right from the beginning, IF we do it right?
5. In the final, shipped version of CA, is there any chance of more appropriate names for certain bowling deliveries as we discussed earlier? It would be even great if for an off-spinner, certainly deliveries get banned. For example, he won't be able to bowl the leg-break. It would be a Googly and not everyone could do it. Speaking of which, are there going to be certain 'specialities' for bowlers? For example, you can have a super-aggressive batsman, who is like a T20 specialist, e.g. Shahid Afridi. You know his specific abilities. Is it the same for bowlers? E.g. a specialized death-bowler, who are more likely to hit the blockhole yorker length than many other bowlers?
Thanks
