It looks lovely, but what chutney is it?

Chettinadu Tomato Chutney, my mom tends tone down the tomatoes and go more for the chilli's, but that's just to suit the family needs if you may, spicy lovers we are. :p

Had some left over Pizza and some bread sticks for Breakfast today, left overs from Friday night I think, meh, tasted fine.

Pizza is overrated too much, It's OK once in a while, but usually bland

Agreed, but I had some friends over and it's always the easiest, call up Papa Johns and there ya go, you have food.

Hate idlis. Dosas are amazing though, especially a nice crispy masala dosa. They should be available in any South Indian restaurant in the UK Ahmad, shouldn't be hard to find at all.

I never have chutney of any sort, hate the stuff. I just prefer sambar.

Idli is one of the India's best indigenous food items, I don't know how so many people consider it bland.

I like Dosas only when its slightly soft in the central part and nice and crisp around its periphery.

I cannot resist eating anything that is spicy, esp. when it has a lot of chilies in particular, which is why I do not like South Indian food more as thats more humble to the tongue.

Being in Mumbai, I love to feast on street food. Right from 'Vada Pavs' to 'Paani Puri'(Or Golgappa as they call it in Delhi).....Its always a delight having them.

Pani Puri's and a whole bunch of other foods of the street, for super cheap too, really do miss India sometimes.

The thing with Sambar is it has to be done right, Chutney's on the other hand, not so much, just about any one can make it and it will taste just as good.

Yes, in Pakistan they are also known as Gol gappa, I love them. But you always have to be careful when eating street food.

The new title totally fits the thread.

Love chaat, but not roadside. Super cheap, but whenever I eat that street food it gives me stomach problems:p.

Yeah you're right about the chutney. I just hate the taste in general though.

I love mint chutney, with just about everything.

P.S. The thread title should just be Indian food

Are you vegetarian, Epic? Or does your family not care?

Nah, I tend to eat just about everything, my parents stick to Fish, Lamb and Chicken.

Biryani with Chettinad Chicken and Naan with some Paneer Tikka, lunch with the family out at some Indian place. Good times.
