Not sure why no-one bought Luke Wright after his performances in Aus. Seems a little crazy for basically no players from the T20 world champions and number 1 side.
Helps the test side so I guess I ought to be in favour.

May be its the conflict between the two cricket boards causing this. And the avaliblty factor too played a key role

For some of the players that could be the case, but the likes of Shah and Wright would be available for the whole tournament, as they aren't in the test side.

Why would they pay for players whose services are not guarenteed? I believe England is the only team that plays every year during IPL. WI does that too but atleast they release their players.

Having said that T20 World champions and NO.1 side in the world needs bouncy tracks to make any impact. Most IPL tracks are as slow as it gets.
