Don Bradman Cricket 14 General Discussion

Will skills for un-licensed players already be assigned or do we have to assign them?

I think it would be better if they were alreayd assigned.

The game will be playable straight out of the box.

I want to play this game right now :(

*just needed to say that*

There is something to fill in some time, and I'm excited, there's 22 people playing Ashes Cricket tomorrow.

Lucky you. I have to stick to checking scores on cricinfo since i will be at work. Its fun reading commentaries there but not as fun as watching it while reading the commentary (not a big fan of tv commentary).

You are a funny man ross, go aus all the way and let's hope England bat in overcast weather then the sun comes out for the aussies to kick some butt.:thumbs

I think it will be like you need to press a button before delivering the ball or before the start of delivering the ball and then altering the seam along with it will give some sort of control..

I although don't think it will be missing :)

It's in the skills so the slower ball is in, how you use it well only bigant know that.;)

Yes you're quite right Ross although only 11 of those 22 will be playing cricket and the other 11 will be attempting to play cricket. :p

We don't want a one sided series so hopefully Australia have done their homework :D

I guess if BA Studios are making this game that much close to reality with awesome Bowling controls. The speed shouldn't be determined by any button.
As far as we know if we pull RAS down the bowler jumps and whatever way we push the RAS up it determines when the ball is released and in which direction.
So in my opinion, in which speed you push the RAS up should determine the pace. if you do it slowly it will be slow, mildly will result in a medium and fast will be fast. (of course keeping the bowlers fastest ball as the max mark)
Can you confirm??

Who releases first will ultimately wins the race

it will be too much for one analog stick i suppose or may be not

there should be an extra analog stick for controlling the fingers.. then we would be throwing all kind of deliveries :p *kidding*

Yeah, but we should be able to put a 'Max Speed Cap' on players.
