Oh you were talking about little mickey and yes he and trickstar are doomed to be honest. I do get the feeling we will be down to just one cricket game soon. Very sad news if you ask me.

PS As a administrator how do you feel about pages and pages of off topic as mike and not about The Don 14 game as I did not want to make it sound like a lector but I guess it did. I am not posting in ashes forum till next month as my way of not liking what he does unlike a few others that love to sound like a pack of DOGS.

Hi - I'm new to the forum. This is my first post, so here's my story of how I came to be here...

• Basically, I enjoy cricket games and often bemoan the lack of them on current gen consoles. I own AC09.
• Earlier this year I checked to see if there was a new game planned and was pleased to see AC13 in the offing.
• As the Ashes approached, I checked to see if the game was out and was surprised to see it wasn't and that there wasn't even a trailer or any gameplay footage.
• A bit of googling for the release date brought me here and I found out about how much of a shambles the AC13 marketing campaign has been.
• I then found out about the Big Ant project, which is incredibly exciting. Been back on this forum regularly to read about it and today have signed up.
• I don't envisage, based on all the information I have at the moment, that I will be buying AC13. Less than a month ago I would have bought it without even seeing footage.

I do wonder if my experience is representative of others. If so, Ashes 2013 has got real problems and might not be the cash cow everyone expects it to be once it gets released.

Anyway - I'm genuinely excited that it seems a cricket game is being made by enthusiasts who want to simulate the sport, rather than developers who want to cash in on the dearth of options in the market, as has been the case with consoles for pretty much ever.

Let's hope Big Ant deliver.

PS ashes 2013 is in a huge amount of crap right now and who knows what the future holds for this gem of a game, some of us still are hoping for the best but it's like a sick person you know they are sick but you still hope they will get better someday.

As for Don Bradman 14(great name right) well the game is getting stronger and stronger every week as we see and find out more juicy information about this state of the art cricket game. Please be online 6pm aussie time tonight .

We don't know that about Ashes 2013 yet. The process around it has been pretty abysmal agreed but what the game can and will deliver we don't know yet. Mike has been sounding confident that he can match DB pound for pound. However we might doubt that let us wait and see what he comes up with.

However we look at it it is a good time for cricket games after a drought. All this discussion and emotions and all has to be a good thing. Better than having nowt to talk about than Monty using nightclub employees as a toilet facility.......although I have to admit that your average bouncer does tend to conjure up that image.

Have been lurking here for around a month and was like
when I found the Big Ant forum and realised how active the CEO of the damn company was on the forum. Even if DB14 was 1/8th of the game it's shaping up to be I would still be extremely impressed by Big Ant.

I know what you mean. I was lured in by the promise of patches for BLIC 2007 and became hooked. It starts of innocently indeed, a tender young kid fresh from school but then a file download here, read a post there. Before you know it they have got you. You tell yourself you can handle it and stop anytime but the truth is is all too confronting!

Luckily the Postathon Bus comes every Friday and I am seeking help.....
