Don Bradman Cricket 14 General Discussion

I just yelled across at MikeM and he said not too far away but I think he and the guys have ordered some dinner so might be after that.

If the clip featured Don Bradman or Biggs then I would need approval
How do you expect to get people interested in the game if the promotions don't include the player that will be the main reason people buy the game?

(referring to Biggs of course)

Yeah Ross, you really need to promote Biggs here in this trailer otherwise your sales wont be good at all

I think sales of the game would increase by 10 times if Biggs was on the front cover and if the IPL was licensed

that was sarcastic by the way...

To optimise sales Big Ant need to plaster posters of Biggs all over Planet Cricket, stick him on the cover of the game, change the name of the game to Biggs Gets It Cricket 14 and have him shoot a couple of video advertisements for both Youtube and TV. If further finances allow for it, maybe Biggs can sign copies at the launch and also all preorders will get a Biggs t-shirt and a Biggs bobblehead...

nek minnit Big Ant generates more revenue than EA have in years... :P

who on earth is this Bradman character anyway, sounds like a rookie to me....

My license agreement doesn't extend to merchandise, I've held on to those rights to go all "Lucas" with my action figures...

I'll have a look at what he's putting up before he hits the "public" button, that's about it...

Bugger... just noticed the video had Biggs in it... shhhh! Don't tell him...

Ross, I plan on heading down to International Cricket Hall of Fame in Bowral tomorrow. Obviously that used to be the Don Bradman Museum. I remember when I was younger they had Super International Cricket on the Super Nintendo (I had to look up the game and console) and recently they had Ricky Ponting 05. What I'm asking is, will there be a chance that I'll be able to play DBC in the former Don Bradman Museum? :p

(I know I won't, just thought I'd bring it up for fun)

You will have an awesome time - it is very good.

Don Bradman Cricket 14 will be on display there, after release :)

I last went to the museum in 2011 I think, so I'm looking forward to it. I'm not even sure if I'm going to the museum, hoping to though. Going with my Dad to get some driving hours up. The joys of being 20 and still on my L's.

Anyway, I'm glad my silly post got a serious answer and provided us with a nice bit of info.

If only cricket was big enough to have something like a ultimate team system...imagine this game with that sort of online system people would be hooked!

You never know, cricket is expanding, and if enough of us get behind this game, in a couple of years we could have that!!

Indeed, I would like to hear the thoughts of Ross on this one.
