My strong feeling is announcement being made on opening day of Ashes.....[Maybe present at the match presenting their game in the stadium itself Showing the launch trailer in the stadium's big screen...I would think that's the best way to advertise as well for the game being named after a legend]....

If it is to end up being an aus ONLY release in 2013, then despite the fact they stayed true to what they said, ross would know by now if that's the plan. Therefore whatever anyone says, he has led everyone outside of aus up the garden path.

We all are so fond of this game that we have completed 218 pages with release date questions....One instance I would like to share is whenever I see Ross' "Viewing Thread: Release Date Q&A (*Updated DBC14 World Premiere*)" then there's always a feeling like he is going to edit the first post with the release date....So I keep on refreshing the page expecting the release date....Funny but true..

it wouldn't surprise me if it was aus and uk only...

it would be huge mistake not to release in the uk now, with the ashes on. we're away in the west indies in feb/march, then have sri lanka and india at home next summer - none if that will generate the interest of the ashes plus cricket will be squeezed in all coverage and interest by the football world cup - especially with the recriminations from england's inevitable stinking up of the tournament and inglorious exit.

i don't know enough about other countries to know when a good time to release is... as is say ross has certainly never said that here in 2013 applied worldwide and has never answered any questions about whether release is going to be staggered.

but aus and uk, really has to be before christmas.

Well he has said he will release when it's most profitable so let's see if that holds up. He's said it so obviously he must mean it...

God Ross does not sleep, he just does like 10000 push ups and thinks about Trickstar will they or won't they release.

It's the 6th Dec date set by Game UK (which they seem to be 100% sure of) that is causing me the most issues. If this is correct then we won't see DBC14 until at least 19th Dec. If not then I can't see it being released until early Feb as people will be expecting sale prices after Christmas and no-one buys anything in January after the initial post-christmas sales period. Plus, this gives time for all the people who bought AC13 to get fed up of it and all the bad reviews to come out. AND everyone loves to spend their first pay cheque of the year!

For me 19th Dec or 1st/2nd week of Feb.

Edit: yes, people are going to repeat the 'it's 2013' line, BUT we've seen throughout this whole saga that things are very susceptible to change depending on external happenings. As it stands it's 2013, but anything is possible and unless we have the words 'DBC14 will 100% NOT be releasing in 2014' from the big man himself, then i'm not counting it out.

Edit edit: This isn't a dig at Big Ant by the way. Even though i'm desperate to have the game in my hands, I'm happy with waiting a few months if it means a better future for Big Ant and the Don Bradman Cricket franchise.

Aus/S.A tour is in Feb, I don't wanna think that's the time DBC will release in S.A *cant deal*

Cricket season is on for us here with Pakistan, India and Australia coming, I would love to play DBC on the off days, I guess everyone's country is playing cricket right now and would love to keep the fever alive
