I can't understand how anyone could like Lara 96 except those confusing it with BLC 99.

well we are not trying to compete it with nextgen graphics / gameplay etc.

Think it like this way : it's year 1997 then rate that game.

I know - BLC96 plays horendously slow, has a painful bowling system and is just no where near as fun as Super International Cricket.

Sure, if you had a Mega Drive and it was your only choice, but I still wouldn't rate it well.

1. Brian Lara 2005 - 8.5 (Best I've played, and I still play it)*
2. Brian Lara Cricket 2007 - 4.5
3. Cricket 2007 - 6.5
4. Ashes Cricket 2009 - 7.5

Haven't played BLC99, or any other game...

*BLC 2005 -
First game to have dynamic lighting(you could see the light on the ground going dim, when it becomes cloudy), Changing climatic conditions throughout the match, Career mode (starting at the international level, but something is better than nothing), FIELDING, and (literally) MORE.

Still run on my modest XP SP3, has got issues with WIN7/8.(regarding my uncle's pharma software's compatibility, as he's got it's home copy installed here.)

The problem with both the upcoming games is that, AC13 guys want to release the game, but they are not ready with the game. On the other hand, DBC14 guys are ready with the game but they don't want to release the game. Because of this, its we the fans who have to suffer.

Ross can at least tell us the month of release, if not the date.

How sure are you that DB14 is ready?? Has Ross confirmed it??
As much as I'm looking forward to playin the game I personally don't feel I'm suffering due to its lack of release date! It will be ready wen its ready!
