The Chinese Cricket Association has confirmed its fifteen man side for the upcoming Emerging Championship T20 tournament set to be hosted by the CBI. The team shares a lot of similarities with the side that hosted Morocco 'Lions' earlier in the year, however several new faces have appeared in the side with Beijingren Deng Hai, Xuan Ru, Zi Jia and Zhao De all entering the side after being unavailable for the Morocco tour due to playing in the Club World Cup. Another new inclusion is Wu Hui who was also playing at the Club World Cup but that time was for Shaanxi who will add another pace option to the side that China will have at its disposal. Kang Jin has also been added as a second wicketkeeping option at the expense of Chen Hanying who has been dropped from the side all together due to not having a list contract. The CCA has stressed that in the event of significant injury to any of China's players at the ongoing Cricket World Cup, players may be pulled from the China 'Seconds' side in need of relief however the CCA does believe that this small case won't happen.
